Hi,

I've an error message on my iPad of a tour I'm working on saying:

Error:TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object

Happened since the new 4.5beta2 pro update. Any ideas ?

Hmm guess the next question might be: What were you specifically doing just before you encountered the Err message ?

Good question..... not quite sure really :-( Though I've used an older skin which I new worked and that also has the error message hence thinking it might be something to do with the beta2 version.

ahhh ok it's me. Something to do with node markers for repeating graphics, which seems to work fine in flash but not html5. :?

It really could have been a software issue. Thank you for looking into it further.
We now can add that to lessons learned growing book of resolved issues !

Ok so I've got two hotspot templates setup in containers - copied from the simplex skin.

hotspot_template
..........marker_active
..........marker_normal
..........markertemplate
....................Clone as Normal: marker_normal
....................Clone as Active: marker_active

hotspot_info_template
..........marker_active_info
.......... marker_normal_info
..........markertemplate_info
....................Clone as Normal: marker_normal_info
....................Clone as Active: marker_active_info

And here is one of the node markers in action:

Hotspots (rectangle with no background or boarder)
..........hotspot_a_01_01 (hotspot template)
....................marker 01 (node marker)
..............................Mouse Click - Open next Panorama - _ - and then the Target which interestingly is now blank but when you double click on shows the next pano
..............................Mouse Enter - Show Element - _ - TT - A - 01 - 01 - External
..............................Mouse Leave - Hide Element - _ - TT - A - 01 - 01 - External
....................TT - A - 01 - 01 - External (graphic png file)

Anything look wrong there ? I'm wandering if the containers are the issue, will remove those and try that. Can remember a while ago them not working so well with html5

HI Pete,
Node markers can be used as child elements in Hotspot Templates for Flash but not HTML5.
You could use an external loader and point to the same graphic.

That said is it not possible to only use one hotspot template and use the hotspots URL to store the file name for the image it needs to show?
One hotspot template can be used and read the data in the hotspots url text field to open an image in an external loader. Each hotspot can open a different image, using the one Hotspot Template in the skin.
Regards,
Hopki
