Hello, I wish a happy vacation to all of you.
Question
I put a MP3 sound on the container "On load " start to play, on a HTML5 publication. I am working with Mac 10.6.8
I can ear the sound only with Safari on the computer or on web but with Firefox no sound at all on computer or by web and with iPad Safari no sound.
Please what is my mistake?
Is I have to put with a start button ?

Hi,
Apple will not allow auto start of sound for their devices, so far every attempt to auto start sound has lead to a new IOS that stops it.
You have to have a button to start sound.

Thank for the answer.
If I understand I have no possibility to add a sound with auto play in HTML5
May be I dont understand but I think I have two solutions. How simply in the skin put a button with text who said: Push here to start talking, and point to the MP3 file.
Or If in Dreamweaver how build a page who as soon they appear, the autorun rotation start and bottom a button who said Press here for the talking is place.
I was trying to doing but I dont find the way to put a HTML page in action in other HTML page who was appear.
I dont find the way to put the HTML page in action from Pano2VR or Object2VR in a cell or layer on other page.
Do you have a idea ?

A was trying to put an button in and out the container with" on clic play music".
It work fine on Safari on the desktop mac, on the web Safari and on iPad but nothing in Firefox on desktop,
or on the web.
This is my imagination limit.
How adjust for using with Firefox and other?

Hi,
As this is an HTML5 project you will need to add another sound with the same ID but in OGG format.
MP3 is supported by Safari but not Firefox. OGG is supported by Firefox so you need to had both formats in the sound editor.

Hi,
If you give the MP3 and Ogg sound files the same ID then you only need one button with one action to play them both.
Only the Browser that can play the file will, the other will not be used.
The only problem you may have is in Chrome as it supports Ogg and MP3, however sound still sounds ok.
