Hello everyone

I'm sure you can help me with following task
I'm going to put radar facility on my pano. I have already done radar beam that's rotating with the pano (when user pan the pano) - but I want also do vice versa: clicking and rotating the laser beam icon should make panorama pan.
I've seen such (working) radars on pano examples on this forum, so it is possible  How to define an action to radar beam so that panorama moved?

maybe it is some kind of mixture of 'Move to view' action and $ap parameter... but I cant work it out.

regards & thanks in advance

well... very nice skin but I think you missed my point or I'm not describing my problem clear enough...

I can see there, that panorama pan causes the radar to rotate. the quest is different: rotating the radar icon by the user mouse move - causes panorama to pan.

in general, how to handle mouse click's coordinates, or any kind of user interaction that consists of some kind of mouse movement. E.g.to make a zoom slider that could be dragged smoothly and zoom follows mouse movement (like on google maps for example)

can it be done in Pano2VR or it is necessary to write some script for flash?...

cheers

Yes - this radar runs "normal".
I have never seen the "vice-Versa" version of it.
There are action to manipulate the pan, but I can´t see mouse- action that would fit to it.

If you put small images inside the radar (the radar has to be a bit largen then) - then you might
apply a mouse-over etc. action that rotate the pano left/right.
The radar could follow.

There's some interesting information here: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/vi ... 7329#p7329. Although I don't think that is exactly what you're looking for, but maybe it strikes up other ideas.

See Mr. Leeman's test pano, too.

Eriks example is nice and a great work, no doubt.

The requested radar would be more like this one:

http://www.kirchen-panoramen.de/_test/s ... 1_ext.html

Test image, may vanish within days.

Made with KRPano though (Austria is the home of such developers ?).
You have do manually code the xml file - no GUI available.

I' ve seen KRPano - we were testing it also... it has such possibility, even more as you are doing everything 'manually' in code...

cheers
