Skin Freeze

Hi,
I am using the latest version (2.2.3) on Mac OS X (10.5.6) and have encountered a freeze when trying to use a Flash skin. I was trying to use the QTCat skin that I found on this forum.
While trying to create the Flash vr, Pano2VR displays two windows.
One is a Progress window: Flash: Adding Skin with an active Cancel button.
The second is a window containing "Error: unexpected end of file Line 1, Column 1".
None of the buttons or windows are responsive (although I can drag the Progress window) and I have to Force Quit.
Not much I can do about the freeze, but can I avoid the unexpected EOF error? Some skins I have tried from this forum load without problems, some don't, and I have been unable to see any obvious differences between skins that work and fail. Can anyone help set me straight on this? It would be nice, if possible, to avoid the EOF error that causes Pano2VR to freeze.
