Hi

We are building a virtual tour for our customer, they have several sites, each site will have thousands of images on different levels. At each level we have several equipment’s and each equipment is identified by a unique tag number (like V-250025 or PV-230015). we are planning use hotspot for each equipment.

Our requirement is that after we place hotspot on each equipment, we should get a scrollable list of equipment hotspots on the main tour landing page, we should be able to search the equipment number and once we click on the equipment it should take us to the node where hotspot is located and to a specified view.

Our equipment’s belong to different categories like mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, process equipment etc..

Can you please share some ideas or refer to someone who can help us on the project

regards

Hi Riyaz,
You can tag the panoramas for each equipment type.
Then use the menu with categories, it will the equipment types first, then it will show the thumbnails of all the nodes.
The order of nodes in the menu uses its position in the tour browser, so if you need to you can rearrange the nodes.
Just another way of sorting.
Also have a look at this project: viewtopic.php?p=67682#p67682

Hi everyone!

I am looking for the exact thing as Riyaz !

I saw the topics of TONYREDHEAD.COM, very clear as usual :) but it is a search for the node, and I am looking for the list of the hotspots of all the tour, in a list. Exactly like the list of the node that's available in most of the preloaded skins of Pano 2VR V7.

Search option could be a great upgrade, but first, just the list of the hotspots (image, url, pdf) could brings to my client a big step !

Thanks a lot for your feedback !

Hi Simon,
The requirement was to list all the asset point hotspots for the entire tour, authough you can not do this for the entire tour you can do it for each node.
If you look in the cloner properties you can select Hotspots.
Please see the working project attched.

Hi Martin,
Thanks a lot for your feedback !
Too bad there is no way to do the complete list of all the hotspots :/ this asset function with the list and the automatic pointing to the hotspot is great.
Would have been cool to have it with the pointing to the panoramic and then to the hotspot.

I'll do my best to implement this function of your asset skins into my project.

I hope that I or someone will find a trick one day !

Happy ea year to everybody and thanks again for the quick feedback (as always) !
