Hello,
I have got a big problem and I've read about similar problems but I didn't find a solution.
I have uploaded a virtual tour one year ago and it works perfectly.
Unfortunately I had to reinstall Windows a few months ago. Now I wanted to change something in the tour, but the skin is lost.
Is there a way to get that skin back from the website files?
Best wishes
Michael

Hi Michael,
Sorry to hear you lost the skin. Unfortunately, there is no automated option to rebuild the skin from the website files. You can retrieve information from the pano.xml and skin.js files but it would be quite a long process to extract all the information especially from the skin.js.
I know this is after the fact but you may want to consider an option for archival of projects like Amazon AWS S3 Glacier Deep Archive. It's very cost-effective and you can zip up a whole project and upload it using the web interface or CLI. https://aws.amazon.com/s3/storage-classes/glacier/

Okay, thank you so far.
Since I can‘t change anything in the project anymore, is it possible to change one youtube video link just with the help of the pano.xml?
Best wishes

Hi Michael,
Note: Before changing anything in the skin make sure you have saved the original as a backup. It's very easy to change something and screw up the skin.
If you can open the video on Youtube and get the id of the video. For example, the latest video on Garden Gnome is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6H9-0hc3Xo so we want the id K6H9-0hc3Xo.
Open the skin.js into a text editor and search for K6H9-0hc3Xo, it will return this line 'me._youtube_vid.ggInitMedia('K6H9-0hc3Xo');' replace the YouTube ID with the new one. Save the skin, clear the browser cache and the new video will be played.
cheers,
Tony
Yes, but not with the pano.xml you will have to change it in the skin.js.Since I can‘t change anything in the project anymore, is it possible to change one youtube video link just with the help of the pano.xml?
