Hello, I was wondering if Pano2VR has the same option for hotpots like PanotourPro: "Change size according to zoom level". That means that if you zoom in that the hotspot buttons also increase size. That looks like the buttons are part of the panorama. Normally the hotspots keep there size so that they seem to become smaller when you zoom in.

Hi Heiko,
You can do this with the Modifiers in the properties of the Hotspot Template.

Have a look at the attached project, open the skin editor and select the Hotspot Template, ht_node.
Then in the properties panel look at the Modifiers at the bottom.

Hi Martin,

in the actual build of Pano2VR 7 beta 4a your example doesn't work anymore. The button jumps around.
Is this a bug or do I have to give the modifier another input?

Hi Heiko,
Since Pano2VR 7 the modifier needs to be in the image and not the Hotspot Temple.
If you do this then it all works again.

Hi, I also tried that. But the result still was odd. When I zoom in or out the image takes some time to resize. In the old version the hotspot-image seemed to have always the same proportional size - also while zooming.

Here you can compare a tour made in V6 (modifier in Hotspot):

and the same tour made in V7 (modifier in image):

Hi Heiko,
Can you send/post your skin?
This is very odd.

Hi,

here's the skin. There are a lot of things inside. The last element is the ht_node.

I found out some interesting things:
1. the modifier 1/FOV is now (V7 Beta5) called "zoom" what is much easier to understand
2. my ht_node has a logic block in "scaling" so that it increases size with mouse over. When I deactivate this everything works normal. Also everything works normal when I only deactivate the transition in the logic block - but the node increases not very smooth:
https://www.zitronenwolf.com/rundgaenge ... index.html
I guess that something between the modifier (zoom - that the node also zooms when zooming in and out) and the logic block in scaling interacts odd in this Version of Pano2VR.

Something additional is strange: when you make the mouse over the node sometimes there appears a third size of the node that I didn't program.

I upload also the modified skin.

Best, Heiko

Hi Heiko,
I downloaded your skin and added it to a five-node test project.
All working as should as far as I can see.
That said there are a few errors that need addressing in the skin, open it with Pano2VR 7 and select Edit, Find Warnings...

Hello Martin,

in your example the same happens as it happens with my example.
I uploaded your example:
https://zitronenwolf.com/rundgaenge/pro ... index.html

And here is a tour of mine that was made with Version 6:
https://www.hdgbw.de/fileadmin/template ... index.html

When you zoom in in the first tour the node decreases optically (or stays the same size absolutely) until you stop zooming then the node suddenly decreases to get the correct size.
In the older and second example the node always keeps its relative size while zooming. Here there is no size pumping after stopping to zoom.

Do you know what I mean?
This pumping gets away if you disable transition in the node's Scaling in Apearance.

Hi Heiko,
Ahh, ok I see it now.
Please see the attached skin, it's using the Hotspot Templates 3D distortion to pin it to the panorama.

That's it.

Thanks a lot!!!

Besides: with the Hotspot Template 3D distortion enabled also the Nadirs keep fix in one place when I place a hotspot in the master node. (Yeah!)
