Essential parameters like default autorotation speed keep getting harder to set, and now seem to have vanished altogether in v 6.1. Please tell me it is still possible to set that; and how to do that for simplex_v6 - full details, if you please.

It is of course possible to set the autorotation speed on the main screen -- but only by also switching it on by default. I want i off by default and slow when user clicks the button.

Hi Thomas,
Using the Simplex_v6 skin as a reference, you will see in the container, "autorotate_buttons".
The last action is:

Using a toggle action you can map a single key to it, as its a toggle.
However, to do as you want, you need to delete this action and open the container.

Select the "autorotate_start" and give it the action:

Then select the "autorotate_stop" and give that the action:

You can, of course, set whichever speed you want, I've set 0.40 in the above but you can set 0.10 to slow it down.
You can also set the Delay and Return to horizon speed as well.
Skin attached.
Regards,

"you will see in the container..." The what? How do I get to it?
I found something in the skin editor tree with the path controller>controller_slider>autorotate_buttons. But its contents don't seem to match what you show.
I need more guidance. Assume I have just opened the project and don't know what to do next. Which is the case.
Once I have found the right things I will also need utterly explicit directions for editing them.
Thanks for your patience, Martin; I do need to be led by the hand for a bit.

OK, got it. Sorry to whine.
But you do know that P2VR rivals Photoshop for UI bafflingness.
