Hi,

I've just posted a new "Little Bits" tutorial Zoom to Point Hotspot on my website at https://tonyredhead.com/pano2vr-little- ... to-hotspot

The tutorial comes with a folder of files you can use to recreate the final output.

Here is the finished project, https://p2vr.s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaw ... index.html

This tutorial show you how to add one or more Point Hotspots in a node that when activated by a mouse click, move the panorama to center on and zoom into the selected Point Hotspot. When the move has finished the button has an action that returns the view to the default view settings.

In this tutorial we will modify the supplied project and skin files by;
  • Adding 2 Point Hotspots to the node panorama
  • Use an existing Hotspot Template Component to create the skin elements
  • Apply settings to the skin elements to add interactivity to the Hotspot template
  • Add an option for both desktop and mobile to reset the panorama to its default settings.
Once again, comments and feedback are appreciated.

cheers,

Tony

Hi Tony,

This looks useful, I'm going to try this. It looks like a good way to focus in on details, perhaps using an eye or magnifier icon.

I haven't looked it through yet, but is there a way to make it zoom so the icon is bottom-center instead of center-center?

regards, Frank

I don't suppose there would be a way to add a "Next" button that goes to the next point hotspot (as long as there is one)?

It would also be cool to be able to zoom polygon hotspots, is this possible? I have used rectangles to increase the size of the clickable area but when I do that I loose the ability to pinch and zoom. Is there anyway to keep the pinch and zoom functionality whilst hovered over a regular hotspot?
