Hi Peter,
This is down to the colour profile the browser uses.
As an example if you open the project in Firefox you may not see the difference in colour.
There is a way to add an “image” mask that can help.
In Photoshop, once the video has been made drag the mask used for the video to the image.
Hide the video layers and invert the mask.
You then export the image as a png so the active area is transparent.
Add a patch over the video in the same place, use the same pan, tilt and FoV values as the video.
Then convert the patch to an image, selecting the PNG you just exported from Photoshop.
The end result is the majority and of the video is covered by the image which should match the panorama much better.
Here is an example: https://support.ggno.me/forum_projects/bbq/

Hi Hopki,

as I'm currently stuck trying to integrate pinned videos to a panorama the 6.1 way in the sense that I can't get the video(s) started and stopped by clicking a hotspot button (although being familiar with some programming languages incl. php and javascript, I don't fully get the whole thing with actions and logic blocs yet :? ). Your bbq project above made me think I could find some hints there on how to succeed.
Would you mind providing the project/skin data?

Thx!

Hello Hopki,

Is it possible to avoid these jumps in image content? They appear quickly one after the other. Maybe with a delay loop that only displays all elements when they are loaded?

Many greetings

Hi Harald,
Are you referring to the Robot?
If so it is an iframe so will load slightly after.

Hi Hopki,

This process takes place within one second. But one sees it nevertheless very clearly. In single frames it looks like this in my Screencast-Video:

Hence my question about a possibility to preload all elements and only output them when they are available.

Hi Harald,
I would say this is browser dependent.
Using Safari it is perfect when the image opens the video is there at the same time.
In Firefox the image and video also appear at the same time but you may see some of the preview tiles as it loads, but only for a split second.
You can, of course, increase the resolution of the preview images also making them in colour.
Chrome, this shows the same as your getting.
So chrome loads the video before the images!

My thoughts are if you applied a patch of the first frame so it is part of the pano, then have a container that on Config Loaded or even on Start, hide media.
Then when Tiles ready show media, as its the same as the patch you should not see it load.
Just a thought.

Hopki
