I've just posted a new 'LittleBits' tutorial called "Fly-In with Splash Screen. It's based on Martin Hopkins post and sample in the forum at viewtopic.php?t=11990

The tutorial comes with sample files and covers adding a splash screen element using a Text field, iFrame code and external files. It uses a logic block to display the screen when the fly-in finishes and shows a couple of tricks to hide the initial load of the text field and enabling a mouse click on the iFrame.
