Animation direction

Hello,

I've changed the direction of autorotation by placing a minus sign before the frame rate but my pano begins with an animation showing the ceiling then going down to the horizon, but in a direction that I can't change : the animation rotates towards the right then autorotates to the left when reaching the horizon, although I want the pano animating in the same direction than the autorotate effect.
How do I change that?
Thanks for your help

Philippe

Hi Philippe,
In the animation editor you can right button click on a keyframe and edit the value.
So the second keyframe where your animation spins too, you can edit its value and see if you cannot get it to rotate in the other direction.
However what I would do is copy the p2vr file and work with the copy just encase.

Hopki

Thanks Hopki.
In fact, I was talking about start animation... but I have had a look inside the animation module (I didn't use it until now) and found it very easy to use and with a clear interface. Unfortunately, I didn't find the way to make the autorotation continue after the end of the animation; it only loops the animation. I looked at your demo video but I didn't learn something allowing this.

Hi Philippe,
Ahh the Fly-In.
You can also make this in the Animation editor.
Press and hold the Green Plus button.

Select Fly In Clip.
Make your fly-in for that node.
With Fly In selected it will use this clip.

Thanks Hopki.

OK. I didn't see this choice... but yes indeed I can change the direction of the animation by changing its value, but the autorotation direction is still positive and the speed field in the autorotation tab is greyed, so that when animation is ended, the autorotation goes on at the opposite direction.
Or I missed something :°(

Hi Philippe,
I have attached a project that uses a timer.
How this works is there is a Fly-In set in the animation editor that lasts for 12.4 seconds.

The Auto Rotation & Animation panels settings:

The idea is after the fly-in the auto rotate starts rotating with no delay.
In the skin there is a time that after 13 seconds has the action to start Auto Rotate, but also adjust the delay timer to 5 seconds.

Without the timer the delay time would remain at 0 seconds so as soon as you stopped interacting with the pano it would start auto rotating straight away.
The timer is changing the delay timer to 5 seconds. So after the fly-in, and it starts auto rotating, if it is then interacted with it would wait 5 seconds before rotating.

If you're ok with the panorama to start auto rotating 5 seconds after the fly-in then leave teh delay at 5.00 and there will be no need for a timer in the skin.

Hopki

Thanks Hopki ! It does it!
I have put 14s instead of 13s in the timer; it gives a better result.
Many thanks for your time
