Hi Hopki, I am having an issue with the floor circle file you created. This only happens in Safari, but the floor circles stay on top of any iframes that I have pop up. I have attached a screengrab and project file. Any idea why this is happening - I cannot figure it out.

Thanks

- Kevin

Hi Kevin,
The skin just shows the ht_node_image in the skin canvas, so you do not see the issue.
Only when it is a child of a Hotspot Template and 3D distortion selected will you see this.

This is the same problem we had with the 3D Arrow hotspot which was easy to update as it was a component.
However, the Hotspot Templates are part of the skin so you will have to wait until the next V6 release before we can address this.

So there is no workaround? Is there any way to use z-index to fix this?

Try deselecting z-index in the hotspot template, leave it at 0. Then give the splash screen an index of 10.
If that does not work then sorry no, you will have to wait or, does the splash screen using a logic block to show and hide it?
If so then use this to show and hide the hotspot template, when the splash screen is open, hide the hotspot.

I tried setting the z-index but that didn't work. I also tried using logic block to show/hide the hotspot, and unfortunately, that didn't work either. The floor circles don't seem to react to anything.

Hi,
Then as I have already suggested, hide the point hotspots when the popup is open.

Is there anyway to add a tooltip that pops up over the 3D distorted floor circle hotspot? I have tried putting text box as a child of the circle hotspot, but then it takes the 3d distortion.

Hi Kevin,
You can use a "floating Tooltip".
This is an old video but will still work with V6: https://ggnome.com/wiki/floating-tooltip/
