Percentage size and aspect ratio

Post by jare » Mon Jun 22, 2015 8:53 pm

Is it possible to keep element's height-to-width aspect ratio when I show the element's size in percentage values?

I think It should save time, instead of using logic blocks when doing adaptive design.
Also options as max./min. width/heigth and Do not upscale/downscale would be helpfull.

Hi,
can we expect any progress with this?
My tour bulding experience with v5 says that this is very needed feature. Now solved only for the external loader. Containers should have that options, too, to scale it's content with locked ratio.

Another bump for an important issue (which is also at least a few years ongoing apparently)-
.
I am starting to run into this roadblock as well with my initial tests using Pano2VR (now at V.6b) as a possible new tour dev environment, and it is effecting my ability to create proper responsive layouts.

I need to be able to specify a percentage width but let the height be unspecified (just use same ratio whatever the size) or visa versa.
