Re: Transparent nadir patch!

But there is no denying that there is a bug, and just because your 'proven method' works does not mean it isn't a fix. The fact is on the new version, for me at least, when patching a nadir hole with a dark logo or dark circle it does not work. I am doing everything as I should be, and it isn't work...

Re: Patch tool shows "hole" BUG...

Smooth, I run 3 PC's, no MAC in sight for me.

As I just posted on my seperate thread, downgrading to 2.2.3 fixed the issue for me.

So, for me at least, the error is in the latest version of PANO2VR, 2.3.0.

Re: Transparent nadir patch!

OK, rather than mess about with all those fixes, I thought i'd try and downgrade to the version 2.2.3, and it has done the trick. It now works absolutely fine as before, with any form of patch without having to mess around with colour picking, flattening etc. So it seems whatever had fixed the issue...

Re: Transparent nadir patch!

Hi 360Texas,

No. its a TIFF file. Should it be PNG?

I have since done some testing, it seems any patch that uses a dark colour now won't work as it appears semi transparent. If I use a light colour, it works.

It's got me really confused, why all of a sudden has this happened? :?

Transparent nadir patch!

OK, I'm posting this here as the previous thread has so many large images, I am frightened my post will get lost... OK, after about 200 panos in PANO2VR, today I produced 15 panos, all of them have the issue with the transparent nadir patch. It seems it does not like my dark nadir patch, and when I ...

Re: Patch tool shows "hole" BUG...

OK, after 2 years of using Pano2vr without this problem, today I stitched 15 panos and every one had this problem. The only difference this time was that it was the latest version, but that doesnt even make sense as I did a project last week and stitched 3 tours successfully. Each floor is different...

Re: Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

Hi smooth, It is a standalone swf file embedded into an html page. I have a feeling they have done something to the file as it now has a collection of numbers and letters after the original file name, which I believe is a sign of encryption? I was wondering though, as I have heard about a problem in...

Re: Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

OK, one last bit from me....

Could using an encryption tool to encrypt the swf cause problems with the loading progress bar? so it doesnt go away on some and doesnt appear at all on others??

Re: Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

I guess i should add, the tour works fine on another site, so it is something to do with the website/server that is the problem rather than the flash file i think.

Loading bar not showing or stopping at 99%

I'm sure someone else had this problem on here, but I cant find the post... What could the likely cause be when the loading bar is not showing up, but the tour does load ok? I thought I read somewhere that the SWF file takes it's information for the loading bar from the server somehow, and if it can...

Any ideas for a decent fix to this problem?

OK, I know there must be a god work around for this! I currently have an issue with loading different panos from the skin. The problem I had is that there is often a lag of a few seconds from when you click on a thumbnail image in the skin to when that pano will actually load. Even when you select t...

linking to other panos in the skin...

Up until now I have always specified the folder that my customers must place their swf files into when uploading them onto their website. This is because when I make the skin, i always properly and fully define the URL, e.g. /mytourvirtual/starterfile.swf. In that example, I would ask them to make a...

Is Pano2vr 'slower' than other flash players?

I really do love Pano2vr, so this isn't me having a bash! But over the last 6 months of me using Pano2vr, I can't help but notice it seems to run a little slower / jerkier than other players, esp FPP. FPP seems to handle even big panos really nicely on my slower machines, whereas Pano2vr seems to st...

Re: Easiest way to create offline tours?

I've done it! Strange thing is, it wouldn't let me rename the .exe file anything other than the name of the SWF i was creating into the projector. Still, I have done it! This will do for now, although I think I will be back when it comes to refining the process. Thanks Smooth, you've saved my life!
