Re: floor plan image size limitation?

Thanks for your help and taking the time to upload your test project Tony. It does work with a bigger image, so that's all good now :D :D

Re: floor plan image size limitation?

Thanks Tony. I do use radar over the pins. Also, the map doesn't close but just hides on the left side when a pin is clicked. But unsure how this could have an effect.. I downloaded your ziped project (added some fake pano and my 1000x765 JPG map), but the funny thing is that it doesn't work for me....

Re: floor plan image size limitation?

BTW @Tony, by any chance would you have saved the skin you used in your https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com ... index.html, as well as the pano2vr file ?

I'd be keen getting them to see if you did manage to display a bigger map image...

Re: floor plan image size limitation?

Hi guys, I'm really lacking precision in my "floorplan" tourist maps, by having to reduce them to 500px height. I would really need to display much bigger tourist maps in order to make them useful. The NOT "simpleFloorPlan" option doesn't seem to work better, as it seems to be al...

Re: IFRAME hotspots and charset

Thanks Tony, I had this exact same line in my IFRAME HTML file, but didn't think of updating the main index.htm, which worked like a charm :-)

Cheers

IFRAME hotspots and charset

Hi guys, Thanks to some usefull conversations and tutorials (Tony) below I was able to acheive multi language IFRAME, for displaying standalone HTML files pre-generated as image+text hotspots. https://forum.ggnome.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12299&p=50870&hilit=text+image+hotspots#p50844 htt...

Re: floor plan image size limitation?

Hi Tony, as always thanks for your reply, quite amazed that you went to download the tourist map yourself to get a copy for your tests. Either that or you are secretely connected to my computer, so I'd think more option one! I tried reducing the skin placeholder for my 1000x765 image - this placehol...

floor plan image size limitation?

Hi guys, I'm trying to add a floor plan to my tour, quite a big floor plan as it is a tourism map (1000x765 pixels) which needs details. However, the floor plan image either don't display at the right size (much smaller) when unchecking "simple floor plan" in skin editor, or doesn't displa...

Auto switch floor plan not working anymore

Hi guys, I was working a week ago on a virtual visit for a house (http://bit.ly/melvinjones), all was good with floor plans and the automated switch when going from first floor to bottom floor... Now I'm back to it and for a reason the switching between floor plans doesn't happen anymore. I'm not su...

Re: Customizable iframe page with placeholders? Is it possible?

Hi Domel, I think you will find a solution to your external html file loading in the following post - https://forum.ggnome.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=12858#p53677 The trick is to use a global variable to store the hotspot placeholder info, then use the variable instead of the HS placeholder in your...

Preferred panoramic equipment

Hi guys, Just wanted to launch a conversation on the equipment people use for shooting their panoramas (photos). While there are all sorts of consumer 360 cameras these days, it seems to me that their resolution is just not up to scratch if you are looking to do some professional tours. I have mysel...

Re: Multi language tour

Thanks Hopki for the tips and sample file. I guess this is a good (if not the only) way to go with nodes, unless we had the possibility to define some user variables at the hotspot level, where we could store the various title translations... Just a bit worried of this duplication of nodes in terms ...

Re: Multi language tour

Many thanks @Mbb, you were faster than me, that is exactly what I came up with as well, it works using a global variable as I think the hotspot description is only available at the moment you click on the hotspot, that is why using the $hd for the iframe string wasn’t working. You went even further ...

Re: Multi language tour

@Tony, that is exactly what I'm trying at the moment: 1- my external HTML files are: html/grotterh-fr.html and html/grotterh-en.html 2- I have placed the word "grotterh" in the description of hotspot properties ($hd) HS_properties.JPG 3- in skin popup body text, I created the same logic bl...

Re: Multi language tour

@TONY, thanks for your extensive message, your stuff looks very good and pro, a good inspiration! nice to see what & how you have done your single pano info hotspot template for the cruise, very useful to analyse your CSS for getting to know a little more what CSS instruction does what (embpanel...
