Re: Pano2VR beta5 release
Hello Thomas & Forum, I like to embed the filename in the text of the HTML output file (created with a customized template). I know I can get the filename of the output with: <?ggs document.write("" + outputfile + ""); ?> But then I also get the .swf extension while I just ne...

Re: more sphericals
Hello Bill,
So this Player/Viewer don't work on all systems.
Best,
Wim.
On my machine (iMac G5 OSX 10.4.11 2GHz 2GB) not really a slow one, I only get a black screen with a blue grid and a controller.bm wrote:But will it work on all machines? I think not, it's going to fail on the slow ones...

Re: Pano2VR beta5 release
Hello Thomas, Is it possible to keep the "User Data" when all settings are saved as "default" ? Some data (Author, Copyright, etcetera) never changes so it would be very handy if all User Data could be persistent. As it is now all user data is gone as soon as a pano is added. Bes...

Re: Pano2VR beta5 release
I did a short write up at http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/HTML_Template and I will try to extend the article over time. I guess the best way is to look at ready made template and modify the code to your needs. Hello Thomas, Thanks for clearifying the HTML templates, it will not be a hard job to...

Re: Pano2VR beta5 release
Thomas, can you give some info how to create custom made input fields within Pano2VR ?thomas wrote:The engine works similar to PHP with embed code in the document, but you can also create your own input fields within Pano2VR.
Thanks,

Re: Pano2VR beta5 release
Hello Thomas, The new beta is functioning very well and although the HTML output is not ready for publication without further authoring it is a big step in the direction of an "all-in-one" solution for creating and authoring all the files that are needed. To my supprise you even thought ab...

Re: QTVR >> Flash9 Droplet converter don't add controller
Can you send me (or better include it to the post...) the project file? Sorry Thomas I can't. I found out that when using the droplet the popup items don't show up (even after enabling all 3 options for it), only the converted Flash pano is created (without controller) so the creation of the projec...

Re: QTVR >> Flash9 Droplet converter don't add controller
Hello Thomas, Hmmm.... it works for me. Did you use the "fast convert" method, or a regular droplet where you defined the skin? A regular droplet with a standard (not modified) controller (slide). I encountered the problem on my iMac (G5) but I just found out that the same droplet +QTVR is...

QTVR >> Flash9 Droplet converter don't add controller
I created a Droplet for converting QTVR panos to Flash 9.
Unfortunately the skin controller is not added in the Flash output when using the Droplet.
Perhaps a feature or a bug (beta4b) but is there a workaround ?
Wim.

Re: Pano2VR beta4b release
Hello Bill, OK the trip is on.. http://www.vrhotwires.com/rtw/rtw/Welcome_.html is our page and you'll find the pano video under bill's movies. I just visit your site, looked at some pics, the VR's and read some text. I have the impression that you and the family are having a good time. All the best...

Re: Huge quality difference between MP4 and Flash timelapse
Hello Thomas, Your answer is clear. Everyone (also Mac users!) need at least the Flash Player release 9.0.64 installed. Because of security problems with previous version that are heavily exploited it may be nice if you check for older version and force your users to upgrade. Unfortunately my skills...

Huge quality difference between MP4 and Flash timelapse
Hello Forum, When testing the new option for showing a timelapse as video stream I used a relatively small timelapse (37 images 3x2 special format max size 2880x1920 px). There was not a big difference between using MP4 or Flash for the movie but I preffered Flash because while loading I get a white...

Re: Pano2VR beta4 release
I'm not sure because the controller still doesn't work. The controller in your movie is working for me (pano+video) although I encountered a behavior different then in my own timelapse controller. When I move the mouse over a button (no clicking and regardless which button) then the auto rotation s...
