Hotspots in Flash
Thomas, We have been in email communication on the apparent difference in the way v6.2 creates its panos as detected by my Flash code which might be due to different use of _root in your code for the pano swf. (I do use ._lockroot to avoid misdirected references to the timelines) or possibly an API ...

embedding a swf without jagged tiling
The way I got round that was just to set a mask over the layer where the .swf is loaded. I am loading into a target .swf, and as long as I put any other material on the page in layers above the target .swf layer the mask doesn't get in the way of the other page material.
