Large Preview For Transformations ???!

Hi ! I have a suggestion for Pano2VR and wonder if anyone else would also find it helpful ? When doing a Transformation in the Output Format dialogue, I think it would be REALLY helpful if the image Preview was much larger. When remapping an Equirectangular image (or similar), it's hard to judge how...

Re: Mobile HTML screen size and settings 03/2012

Any idea of the optimum Tile Size for the new iPad 3 Max Screen Size of 2048 pixels x 1536 pixels ?

I'd like to create some 360's that are ready for the new iPad 3 but not sure what to set in the "Mobile" HTML5 Output dialogue windows ?

Thanks !!!

Pano2VR and Blackberry Compatability

Hi !

Do any form of Pano2VR generated 360s work on Blackberry mobile devices (Flash or HTML5 or Quicktime) ?

I don't have one so can't test it ...

Thanks !

Re: swf versus qtr

Hi Terry !

Personally I wouldn't bother with QTVR Quicktime. This was THE format to use a few years ago, but i don't know anyone who uses it much these days.

Flash & HTML5 are the way to go and do 'em Multi Resolution if possible (so they work on small mobile devices).

Simple guide to publish panoramas on Facebook

Hi everyone ! How do you publish interactive panoramas on Facebook using Pano2VR ? I've looked on the forum here but there does not seem to be an obvious and easy way to do this. I guess they need to be generated in both Flash and Html5 if they are to work with most devices too ? Can somebody give u...

Re: Html5 Output with mp3 sound

Thanks Hopki ! Sounds like i need to do some playing ... :D Here is the info from my original post several months ago but I'm not quite sure how to do all this ... Can you explain in bit more depth - sorry if i'm a bit naive but only a humble photographer. Do i do all this in the skin editor ? What ...

Re: HTML5 Cube Face Sizes for iDevices etc

Thanks again Dave :) Good that the resolutions are ok. Always hard to check compatibility with all devices. Pano2VR outputs the Html5 files fine ... just wondered why there was still the Big Grey "?" in the window since i'm using the non beta version. Maybe Thomas needs to update this. And...

HTML5 Cube Face Sizes for iDevices etc

Hi ! Just working out how to produce HTML5 output files for Apple iDevices and other mobile devices and need some guidance. I'm looking at this page for reference http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Pano2VR_-_Knowledge_base_-_HTML5_Cube_Face_Size_for_Apple_Devices So have set my "Mobile" w...

Re: Html5 Output with mp3 sound

Hmmm ... bugger !

So could this be easily fixed in Pano2VR Hopki ?

I'm a photographer not a web designer so I wasn't quite sure how to fix this problem.

Can you explain in a little more depth what we need to do ?

Much appreciate your assistance as always :)

Html5 Output with mp3 sound

Hi all ! Just wondered if there were any recent developments regarding adding mp3 sound / audio files to HTML5 output for compatibility with iDevices ? I started this thread a few months ago http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=6261 and the solution seemed to be creating a sp...

Re: Future of Flash and Html5 360 Panos ?

Thanks for your comprehensive reply Dave :) I wonder what the future holds for Flash and interactive media ? :?: Personally, I think Adobe will try and streamline Flash to work better on mobile devices. I think i saw an article recently about how they have now made an application to web designers to...

Future of Flash and Html5 360 Panos ?

Hi ! Can anyone tell me what mobile devices work with Flash to display full screen 360 panoramas ? Also, is HTML5 output only suitable for Apple devices using Safari or do some PC's also work with HTML5 now too ? Does anyone still see a future in Flash or are all websites expected to soon be HTML5 b...

Re: Is there any way to save a 360 as .mov for Final Cut Mov

Ahhh ... Hopki to the rescue :D Thanks again for your input ... How do i output frames using transformations ? I had a look myself but it didn't seem obvious. Also, and perhaps more importantly, when outputting images this way, do they have normal perspective (like in a video tripod pan) or do they ...
