Re: html/css3 on Safari PC and new iPad2
Hi
I have tested Dave's Panorama on my iPad 1 & 2 as well as on my iPod Touch 4th generation.
All work as should, IOS: iPad 1 & 2 = 4.3.3.
Edit:
Also tested Wim's pano that worked ok too.
Regards
Hopki

Re: Creating an initial screen for a virtual tour
Hi Probably the easiest way to do this is is to have your splash screen, be it an image or made up from the skin editors tools. Have it show and then on click Hide self. You can then have a button with the actions mouse click toggle visibility "splash screen" That should do it. Regards Hopki

Hi
Are you talking about a splash screen with with instructions?
Or a screen people will come back to, like a map?
Please provide more information, so we can help.

Hi
Are you using the full screen option? Pano2VR version 3.0 final release.
If not this will happen, use the full screen option in the HTML5 HTML normal template, this should do the trick.

Re: DHTML Update
Hi Very soon, we demonstrated the iPad version at Palmela with working area hotspots which seem to create a lot of interest. The key points will be margins and flash video support, basically the same skin as Pano2VR. Another factor is the translation files, Object2VR is only in four languages, I wan...

Re: multilanguage hotspots/areas
Hi This depends how you have the pages set up on your website/server. If you have two websites in two different languages then just make two different panoramas. You can have a language button, just have a set text action for all the text boxes. So the portuguese button would set the text in portugu...

Re: close automatically a panorama
Hi Is there a reason that you open in new windows? I take it you are linking to HTML pages, if you set: _self in the target field this should close the first and open the next in the same window. However, if you link using SWF then you can do this using the same skin, this will also mean full screen...

Making a Slideshow from Object2VR
Hi All Just playing around, recorded the set using a Zoom H2 of my sons band at Download 2011, also took some snaps, put then into Object and Pano2VR and this is the result: http://support.ggno.me/tma This is a 30 minute set, could have chopped up the MP3, but what the hell. Parental guidance is nee...

Re: Pop up text box
Hi Dave In the skin editor you can draw a text box with the text box tool, then you can set it to not visible. You can then add a button to the menu bar, mouse click toggle visibility the text box. You can then even put another button on the text box to close it, that would have the actions, mouse c...

Re: help to show a huge pan with info
Hi
In the hotspot template set the Modifier to:
Scale => 1/tan(FoV0 => Factor: 0.07 => Offset: 0
Set the factor so you get the size you want, then when you zoom in and out the text on the hotspot will scale too.
However text does not scale well so could end up looking bad.

Re: farther request
Hi
A1, Open the Pano2VR setting and set the Preview Equirectangular Size to 4,096 x 2048.
This will increase the image quality of the point hotspot editor.
A2, Sorry this is how it is for the moment but we will be looking at this as some point.

Re: Default Settings
Hi
You can use a droplet to do this, however I will pass this on to Thomas as I thought version 3 should default with Flash?
If not I will add to the bug tracker.

Re: Google Chrome HTML5 experience less than satisfactory
Hi @ altman.norris Sorry, Just spotted the ggt file you are using, the Normal is the on provided by Garden Gnome and has this option, many third party produced full screen HTML5 templates, including me, but you only really need the normal one as this has the fullscreen option as well as the full bac...
