Skin / Controller how to:
Looking at the edit... for the Skin / controller in the flash settings window is difficult to understand. I'd like to come up with some different skins. Is there any documentation / how to... / tutorials anywhere on what all the different things do inside the editor. Some I can figure out, but most ...

Re: Flash window size
Thanks for the tutorial. :) it is bad form to navigate to a swf file on the web. just my 2 cents. Is this because of the loss of control of the size that the swf opens in a browser window? or is there something else. I would have thought that the "Display window size" in Object2VR settings...

Re: Flash window size
If I understand what your saying; I'll open a blank page in a text editor (Mac text edit) and copy the code you provided and make the changes you pointed out (mymovie etc). Then I assume save that file and call it "mymovie".html and upload both to the server. I also assume both the html fi...

Pan around image in swf
I've gone thru the search and found that you can pan around a zoomed in image by holding down the shift key and click and hold the mouse. Most people / clients wouldn't know that. Is there a way to modify the skin controller to get a button you could click on and get a hand (or something) that the v...

Re: Speed question
Thanks PhotoSpherix I'll try that, I think it defaults to 50 Also, is there a manual or something that explains what all the various settings are for, how they work, what they do, suggested settings? I'd rather not take up others time if I can read it myself, but I didn't see much. The tutorials and...

Re: Flash window size

Re: Get HTML file onto website for viewing?
I think the answer to that question will lie with the application that you are using to create your web site. I used Apples iWeb, so that's were I went to find out how. check (maybe google) to see if there are any forums out there for the web app. you are using. They should be able to steer you in t...

Speed question
Here's another question / anomaly I have. After outputting a .swf file and setting the file to auto rotate and picked 1.8 for speed. The file opens in Opera on my computer and looks good. I upload the flash movie to the web server and go to the url. The speed of the spin viewed in the default browse...

Flash window size
I know in the Object VR software under Flash Output > Settings I can set the size of the display window using the Window Size. When I output the file and view it in Opera, it opens at the small size that I put in the settings box. But after uploading to the server and going to the url, the flash mov...

Re: Flash Object movie in iWeb
Here's the answer I found for others who might need to know: Create a folder on your server - FlashFolder. Upload your flash file to this folder. The URL of your file is .... http://www.mywebsite.com/FlashFolder/FlashFile.swf Where: www.mywebsite.com is your website URL FlashFolder is the name of t...

Re: Auto start?
:D :D :D :D Ever though about being a teacher? Your instructions were easy to follow. The screen shots made it almost a no-brainer. Hopefully this will be useful to others researching this forum. I have another question but I'll put it on another post so it's out there for others. Thanks again for a...

Re: Auto start?
PhotoSpherix... Brilliant!!! :D That is exactly what I'm looking for. Now I need to learn how to do that myself. Let me ask a few questions about your reply. My Object2VR software has two skins in the Flash output window.(default and controller_object_popup.ggsk) I have opened the skin editor and al...

Re: How to get completed quicktime files onto site for display
The answer to your question lies in the software you are using to create your web site.
I created mine in Apple's iWeb, so I followed iWeb's directions. I suspect you will have to do the same.

Auto start?
I've got a 67 frame object movie (.swf) and the client wants is set to auto rotate. But the problem is that it starts to rotate as soon as the file starts to load. So the loading bar is blocking part of the image. By the time it fully loaded just a few seconds, the auto rotate has taken the viewer 7...

Flash Object movie in iWeb
As this is all new to me, I'm hoping someone here can clue me in.
I've output an object movie as a Flash .swf file.
Before I get into a long description as to what I've tried so far, can anyone tell me how to get a Flash object movie into iWeb page?
Thanks,
JeffN
