Re: pinned video still with issues?
Ok, alongside the unexplained video format compression, unless I'm conviced otherwise, pinned video is utterly unusable on iPad in it's current state. This is one feature that was ground breaking for me in V4 and Something I still can't offer my own clients. http://www.stillmation.com/pano_forum/ipa...

Re: pinned video still with issues?

Re: pinned video still with issues?
It was one of the Andriod presets Mp4 that I have in Pavtube and a .SWF as the other. That .webm didn't work at all on the desktop version. Maybe I'll stick that in as a fallback option for ipad use though?360Texas wrote:Curious.. what file format(s) are you using?? Are there 2 flavors of video file formats?

Re: pinned video still with issues?
Nope, Like i said, it plays in 16:9 on the PC and mac. I made the video, so I know it's the right ratio. For whatever reason the ipad seems to compress it to 4:3hum@no.id wrote:strange behavior like 4:3
Maybe original video really maked this aspect ratio?

pinned video still with issues?
Hi All, I'm back to playing with pinned video. I have it working just fine in my browsers but trying to view it on the ipad I'm getting this. The 16:9 video is displayed with black bands left and right. If this down to the video format again or a real issue with the html5 displaying? Files were adde...

Re: definitive V4 settings
Thanks for the feedback Martin. I've had a play and so far I think i've a better handle on it now. I have to say though, the very media rich planes I have been doing really didn't like the V4 setup. When the next jobs come in I'll have a gentle play again. At the moment I'm going to limit V4 to the ...

Re: Scrolling image
This is nice. has potential. I've got to get to grips with the markers still, but will give that a go when I can. One question though. Scrolling is now done by buttons. Is there any way of doing that by mouse within the popup box? Ipad note: All works sweet BUT. Close the popup on the Ipad and all t...

definitive V4 settings
I've loaded up the new version of V4 to give it a whirl. Are the definitive settings posted anywhere that address the issues I've constantly had with V4 compared to V3? Right now I use the screen settings from the sticky of optimised screen res outputs. I need to maintain the FLASH and HTML5 compati...

Re: Old nasty bug. When will corrected???
hi Very nice pano You applied the lens flare in a way, that it's meant to, not those star wars lasersword shield coming out of nowhere. Very sublte and clean pano. and Tv including Video is well placed. Congrats to the work Exactly. Very nicely done. The first setting of effect can be binned. It's ...

I just tried the flare plugin to see what it looks like.

I must be missing something here

Re: Hiding skin features.
As a thought... You could have all elements hidden. Then in the skin have node markers with tags, example skin_green, skin_red and skin_blue. Each node marker can then have the actions to show all the elements that skin will use. An example would be tag a pano in the user data, skin_blue. Then when...

Re: Hiding skin features.
Agreed: Only a thought - it could get complicated fast. You might consider suggesting your CORE set of functions ? The switch ON/OFF function list approach is interesting. The set of prebuilt skins already provide a small set of functions albiet, the 100+ or so users always seem to have their own u...

Hiding skin features.
Hi All. Here's one I'm trying to work out. I've been building a tweaking a lot of skin setups lately for clients and my own use. It seems that I have to save each setup or variation of a skin as a separate and new skin version. Is there any way of having say, a fully loaded skin but only actually us...

Re: Old nasty bug. When will corrected???
Now here's a thing. Lens flare is something that photographers try to avoid at all costs. Now people want to put it back in? :) Seriously. Your tour looks like it's all ready to roll. How on earth can an optional effect be a deal breaker here? Is the client really going to be that upset if it's not ...
