Re: Open Next Pano doesn't work in Flash?
Interesting! Thanks, that did the trick. It does strike me as slightly curious that it didn't work with the Mouse Up event. First, because that's what's working in the HTML5 skin, and second, because that's a normal UI event trigger in app authoring environments. But I see that Mouse Click behaves a...

Open Next Pano doesn't work in Flash?
Well, it doesn't work in the thing I've just made. I apologise in advance if I've made a mistake - a very likely thing! I created a skin with thumbnail bitmap images added as buttons. Each button was set with a Mouse Up 'source' and an 'action' of Open next Panorama. In the URL field I put the name ...

Transition between panoramas?
Is there any way to show a transition effect between two panoramas?

Re: Links within a skin question
Using the open 'next panorama' should point to a .swf file for Flash based tours and .xml for HTML5 based tours. Damn. So do I need to make two separate skins for these two formats? Or is there a way to do conditional statements within the URL field? Everything in the one directory and you don't ha...

Re: DPI resolution
Good link. I'd just like to add that the term DPI is itself incorrect. Really, we're talking about Pixels Per Inch, so the term is PPI. Bitmap images are made from pixels, not dots. Dots are what printers make on paper. I could go on... but I won't.

Re: Possible to start a pano using a timer?
The only problem with the above solution is that it doesn't take into account the time taken to load the pano. The timer starts ticking as soon as the browser sees the instruction. If it is important that the 360-degree sweep is completed first, this might be a problem. But if not... good idea! Keit...

Links within a skin question
If I add a link to a 'next panorama' (odd terminology) to a button object in a skin, is the URL relative to the current pano's XML file location, regardless of where the current HTML file might be? And should it point to the 'next' panorama's XML file? So if I have each pano in a folder of it's own,...

Re: HTML5 in Pano2VR template - bug report
I've repeated the reported behaviour with my saved Pano2VR document. I have also verified that if I quit and relaunch Pano2VR with this saved setup and then generate a pano the problem does NOT occur. Well, not until I try a second. Basically, if I quit and relaunch between each pano it works. Next,...

Re: HTML5 in Pano2VR template - bug report
Hi, I'm very glad to help! I think Pano2VR is a seriously good application - I hope this helps move this beta on to the next stage. Regarding the thing you mentioned about it not overwriting the 'images' folder... I really think it should, especially given the warning presented to the user when they...

Re: Outputting HTML
I have a mac and right clicking did not work. TextEdit will let you edit HTML files, but you'll have to go into that application's preferences and tell it not to show 'rich text' when opening HTML files. Alternatively, TextWrangler, from Bare Bones Software ( http://www.barebones.com/products/textw...

Re: HTML5 in Pano2VR template - bug report
Actually, each equirect is in a separate folder, so the issue of not overwriting the 'images' folder isn't a problem here. I just tested this: 1. Two different folders, each with nothing inside but a single (different) equirect TIFF. 2. I dropped one image into the Pano2VR input area and generated a...

Re: Outputting HTML
how can I force Word (or Windows to automatically enable Javascript ? Word is not an HTML editor. It will try to render the HTML content instead, as if it was a browser. Which it really, really isn't! Any text editor would do what you want. Notepad, for example. HTML files are plain text files with...

HTML5 in Pano2VR template - bug report
I configured Flash and HTML5/CSS3 output settings and then saved the Pano2VR document so I could reuse those. I then used this to create different standalone panoramas, from equirects kept in separate folders. When I look in the "images" folder for each one of these, the cubeface images ar...

Re: Color space
It seems that Pano2VR converts content to Adobe RGB even if it arrives in sRGB format. I work in Adobe RGB because it is a better color space, but I prefer to deliver in sRGB because that's assumed by most final web players and colors can be dulled down slightly if it isn't in sRGB for the final out...

Bug in output formats (2.2.3 b2)
I just tried to output cubefaces, and the JPEG compression control is available when the PNG output format is selected but dimmed when the JPEG formats are selected.
