Logic blocks - pixels and percent

The concept of logic blocks is brilliant and gives a huge amount of flexibility. Very well done indeed! Is it a limitation of the beta version, or have I not understood it fully? I'm struggling with this: I'm trying to add a thumbnail bar. Let's say it's 700 pixels wide showing all the thumbnails. I...

Re: Pano2VR V5 Beta issue

Hi Hopki,

Thank you very much, that makes perfect sense and explains the problem. I'll generate the file again with PTGUI, then the problem should be solved.

Excellent support, as always!

Thanks again

Harald

Toggle Fullscreen on iOS devices - how do you deal with it?

With an HTML5 panorama in an iFrame on an iOS device you can't switch to fullscreen mode and back, as far as i know that's a "feature" of iOS. It's annoying - a panorama in an iFrame can make a lot of sense on a large screen, on an iPhone5 it's a bit of a pain. And a "fullscreen"...

V5 and Logic Blocks

What a brilliant idea, I LOVE the logic blocks! Now it's possible to have different layout for different device sizes etc., that's fantastic! Of course you've opened a can of worms here, there are important things that CAN'T be done with the current version, as I understand it: There are no brackets...

Pano2VR V5 Beta issue

Wow, you added a lot of new and exciting features, that's brilliant! I have to explore all the new options and get used to the new UI. Is is a beta issue? I was trying to use an existing virtual tour, and found a big black "hole", like a black vertical bar, in the panorama view and in the ...

Re: Direct node access and direction

Hi Hopki, Thanks, I have already implemented it via changes to the HTML5 template and adding a bit more Javascript, please see my previous post. It seems to work very well, but I'm hoping to get a bit more feedback, good or bad. It's a feature I'm now using all the time, especially when sending a li...

Re: Preview image problem in virtual tour

Hi Hopki, Yes, I'm using Pro. The patches to remove the tripod are applied to each of the 27 panoramas in the virtual tour. If I use the 32 bit version of Pano2VR to rebuild the XML file (after adding, for example, a hotspot), I seem to be quite often some or all of the tripods back. The odd thing i...

Re: iFrame on Wordpress.com hosted site

In wordpress you have the wysiwyg editor and the text(code) editor that is the version you need to use. Yes I know, and that works very well! The point is that Wordpress strips out the iFrame statements for blogs that are hosted by Wordpress.com . I'm using a Wordpress blog myself on my website, wh...

iFrame on Wordpress.org hosted site

Hi all, A client would like to use a panorama within the blog he maintains for his organization. The blog is hosted by Wordpress.org, the panoramas are hosted on my server - an iFrame should do the trick! Actually, it doesn't, Wordpress seems to strip out the iFrame code, leaving just the URL for bl...

Re: Direct node access and direction

With a few code changes it seems to be working now, before I publish the code here, please try it out, and let me know the results, good or bad: You will need a node parameter, I haven't worked around that. With a node parameter, just add pan, tilt, and field of view (all are needed) Example: URL: h...

Re: Preview image problem in virtual tour

Hi Hopki, Thanks for the quick response! The problem may well have been down to the memory settings, I have 32GB RAM installed, but the memory parameter was set to 800MB. I set it to 300, as suggested, and it moved up to 1000. There seems to be an upper limit of 1500? Edit: Because of an old problem...

Preview image problem in virtual tour

Dear all, A strange problem has come up with a virtual tour that uses quite a few (28) individual panoramas: The preview images shown in "Viewing Parameters", "Hotspots", and in the map view of "User Data" are often blank. Closing and re-opening helps, sometimes I have ...

Thanks again for the quick and detailed response!

Direct node access and direction

Just wondering how this could be done: Take a virtual tour similar to Google Street View - your panoramas are along one line, like a road, and visually linked to each other with hotspots along this line. Let's say your starting panorama is A, you can move to B, then to C, and the end is at D. If I u...
