User Skin file location probem, moving & backing up issues.

Hi, I have a request please. Any chance you can make the location of user created skins (ggsk files) be stored in the project file as "relative to the project file" rather than absolute. Read on and you will see what I mean. A problem I have just encounted is that my vr tour uses a skin I ...

Re: The initial view seen when travelling via different hotspots

I still can't get this to work. The problem I am seeing is that the first value (PAN) makes NO DIFFERENCE at all to the view in the target pano. It completely IGNORES this value. I can see the the TILT value DOES work, If I try different number for that parameter in the hotspot target then it does i...

Re: Virtual Tour with different time steps

Guess I don't understand where I can get the right P/T/F for the next pano. Hi Jabadoo, I'm having the same problems. It should be a simple task but I can't seem to get it working correctly. With regard to finding out the PTF for the views what you need to do is open the pano in question and then i...

Re: Which Program?

Smooth, The big question remains - where does the .swf file go by default? There is no 'save as' opportunity that I can find in Pano2VR to make it go to the desk top - or anywhere else for that matter. Where do you think the file would be? And how do I choose the output folder location? (I somehow ...

Re: Start Fullscreen in Google Chrome

Hi etegration , Not quite sure why your response was so negative and rude. Like I said this is a browser problem not a pano2vr problem and there for it would be wrong to change the pano2vr code to work around it. What I suggest you do is... 1) Make sure you have the latest version (1.0.154.48) 2) In...

Re: Start Fullscreen in Google Chrome

I can confirm that this does not work on Chrome. This is clearly an issue with that browser ONLY and not something that you should be trying to work around. These things work in every other browser. Chrome is quite new and as such will probably be improved to be more compatible in time. It may be th...

Re: The initial view seen when travelling via different hotspots

Andy, First, is there any other hotspots apart from this one? If so, you better place the % in front of "all" the targets or you are battling an uphill task. You should be using "Open next panorama" not "go to url" as the action. What have you named the actual "Ho...

Re: The initial view seen when travelling via different hotspots

If you have not added the percentage symbol % to "all" hotspot targets you will still have issues. It is also possible you have either incorrectly named the HS or the HS Proxy ID's. Keep it simple and name them HS1, HS2 etc. Regards, Smooth 8) Hi again, Thanks for sticking with this I'm s...

Re: The initial view seen when travelling via different hotspots

OK, I've tried this on a couple of the panos in my tour to see if it works but no luck. 1) I edited my skin and changed the target field to include the % so it was this %$ht Saved the skin. 2) I loaded in my destination pano and used the viewing parameters window to get the views I wanted and I made...

Re: The initial view seen when travelling via different hotspots

Andy, Mate, it is 100% do-able. I just tested it! You should set the P/T/F in the hotspot target you desire as the landing position in each panorama. Target: 100/-90/70 In the skin editor you should set the P/T/F as %$ht . Just type this in. Pan/Tilt/FOV: %$ht Regards, Smooth 8) Thanks for the repl...

The initial view seen when travelling via different hotspots

I have searched the documentation, Video tutorials and the forum for an answer to this question but can’t seem to find anything. Its a fairly simple question but best explained using a photo. I think other people have tried to ask this question but not got an answer due to it being a difficult one t...

Re: Auto Rotate bug?

Thanks k.ary.n, I did not know there was any documention for this software, I did not realise thats what the wiki thing was Anyway I guess I've misunderstud the options. Personally I would prefer panos to load in a static mode and ONLY rotate if either the user moves them OR the delay kicks in, this...

Re: Auto Rotate bug?

I have searched the forum for an answer on this one but no luck so I have made an online demo to show the problem clearly. View the pano on here (the cube faces are made from a screen grab of the settings panel as used): http://www.absolutelyandy.com/demo/pano2vr_problem/autorotateproblem/ As you ca...

Auto Rotate bug?

I love the Auto Rotate facility but I find that ALL of my panos start rotating as soon as they are loading in rather than waiting until the Delay (of 20.0s) kicks in. I have no idea whats going wrong as the settings in that panel seem correct...... I have Enable auto rotation ticked. Pan speed 0.02 ...

Re: Hotspot Template

It is covered in the tutorial...

http://gardengnomesoftware.com/tutorial.php?movid=12_2

But put simply it allows you to use your own image as a hotspot rather than the bright red crosshairs.
Hope this helps.
