Re: DIY Turntable Rig

Option 1 To find the degrees on a circle. A measuring tape can be used. Measure the circumference of the circle. Take the total and divide by 36 to get every 10 degrees. Option 2 Another easy way that I have used in the past is to make a box in illustrator a 1/2 inch tall by the circumference of you...

Re: Multirow ObjectVR - but how?

On the first few revisions we had a single arm that held the camera. We found that even a movement of 1/32 of an inch in the camera from horizontal to vertical made the object of photography move from the top of the field to the bottom. We also wanted this rig to work as a general rig. Objects from ...

Re: Does anyone else have examples to show

Smooths right, except we use glass not plexi. The plexi seems to act strange some times. We do use black plexi or lexan for dark shots. I read a note on DIY photography a few weeks back that I am going to try on a new client. Hard Cellophane, like what flowers are wrapped in from a florist, it is sa...

Re: Feature wishlist

Maybe I am the exception to the rule, but in times pasted I had "rolled" my own player for object vr's. I had the same trouble that the flash den version has. It is great for a one off or so, but not so good for production. Object2vr is great for production and with a couple tweaks. It wil...

Re: Multirow ObjectVR - but how?

Think of it this way. the object spins in the middle when you do a single row shot. When you do a multi row shot, you have to stay an equidistant from the object with the camera staying pointed at the object. http://www.photospherix.com/figures/10_row.jpg See in the illustration how the camera moves...

Re: Protection of swf files (from gousable.com)

Thanks for the input.

I was hoping for it in Object2vr. I still have hope though we are at Beta 2. Thomas made a post a few days ago that he would finish out the skin and hotspots on the pano side before posting changes on the object side. I hope this is one that is added to the objects!

Re: Protection of swf files (from gousable.com)

I wanted to bump this message and see if anyone has figured out a way to domain protect files with the skin editor?

Thanks

smooth I managed to find a way to "find the spot" on the mac the best way I found was to invert the screen. Make the blacks white and the whites black. Thanks

Re: Does anyone else have examples to show

We left the shadow on all that are top side, Then removed the shadow on those that are below the horizon so that the product is grounded. It was by design for the customer.

Re: Does anyone else have examples to show

I finally got around to making a full multi-row

Here is the link
10 row Full 360 Product

After loading this into the object2vr I have a list of wants for the light table, but then again, full shots are not requested every day.
