Re: Your photo gear?
Canon EOS50D, Sigma 10mm lens, Nodal Ninja 5 with RD8 rotator Think I'm one of relatively few shooting with the Sigma 10mm (I also use the 8mm but it's so 'soft' in comparison… unless I'm shooting busy crowds I much prefer the 10mm) and I love its crispness and the extra resolution a 6 shots around ...

Re: HDR
I'd concur with that… a lot of HDRs look terribly odd and artificial, and there's a tendency to overstaurate and make the subject look 'otherworldly'. I now produce almost all my panos using tonemapping with Enfuse. I find you get the benefits of the greater dynamic range of bracketing source shots ...

Re: Heage Windmill VR Tour, practical example of a useful tour.
Hi This looks really nice. However I notice that the controls seem inverted to the usual manner: eg if you click and drag left on the panorama, it actually moves right. I found this a bit confusing, but was wondering if you'd had real-world feedback from users in the windmill to suggest this is a mo...

Re: Bug list: Object2VR beta 3
another point: when you manually set the filepath for the html file to accompany a quicktime output, the filename defaults to a file extension of .mov, not .html the same seems to apply when outputting a flash file. in p2vr i normally use the parameter '$n" but the suffix seems to be automatica...

Re: Bug list: Object2VR beta 3
great to see the new beta published … thanks I've noticed a couple issues with beta3 so far … the default filepath for output files still seems to be the applications folder (I guess Object2VR tries to set that path based on the local of the application bundle itself). Would it be possible to have t...

Re: Feature wishlist
Hi Thomas
Still enjoying using the existing beta of OBject2VR, but running into many of the previously documented issues and was wondering you'll be releasing an update anytime soon? Eagerly awaiting it … thanks in advance!

Re: How can you get clothes to look like that?
that's a puzzler and no mistake. It's a good effect, but i'm sure there's a quick and lofi way of achieving it. there normally is for this sort of thing! you could probably use a thin clear structure, made from HIPS or styrene or similar. It wouldn't have to be fully enclosed, just enough form to we...

Re: Feature wishlist
Great work so far on O2VR ... bought a licence yesterday and despite coming across some typical beta issues :D i'm impressed I'm particularly interested in rendered outputs from 3d apps and have created image sequences and successfully used them to create .mov and .swf versions. I keenly await a fur...
