Re: Twitter & Facebook Share Buttons

Thanks Sam. From what I understand, the way to do this would potentially be to edit the .ggt (HTML) template, define a script function, then call that from the skin. That *should* allow the page URL of the HTML file to be automatically called and used… I'm trying to solve this myself, as It is a fun...

Re: Question about proxies & action ordering

Bingo! That should do it… I'd forgotten about regular expressions… much easier & more straightforward to use. Thanks Hopki!

Re: Question about proxies & action ordering

I'm still scratching my head on this. I've come up with a workaround: manually toggling off each named hotspot in a series of actions. So for five hotspots per scene, that's five actions rather than the 2 I'd hoped for… It's not very elegant, and requires going back and manually updating all hotspot...

Re: Hotspot with preview

Thanks Hopki, nice tip. Just been setting a less complicated version of this to show an image in a loader page… I think I'll play around more with the options now you've posted this. Cheers!

Re: How to publish pano2vr products to App store

Not sure. You *might* be able to add the VR content to Adobe's DPS package, or Apple's iBooks, and publish via them. I'm not a dev, but sounds like what your friends did to enable WebGL *might* be what's causing the problem. Using a 3rd party publishing tool may You could also perhaps link to an ext...

Any way of changing XML values for published HTML5 panos?

Quick question: is there a way for an end user to change any variables within the XML for an HTML5 panorama? I'd like to add a button to change invertcontrol="1" to invertcontrol="0" … thus allowing the user to change control mode, depending on whether they like StreetView drag, ...

Question about proxies & action ordering

I've been trying to create an elegant way of ensuring I only have one hotspot popup info box open at any time. So if a user clicks on a hotspot, before a pop-up window appears, any others which are open will close. In the past I created a solid black semi-transparent layer behind the hotspot pop-up ...

Possible bug: multi-res Flash & allow network access?

Noticed this in a few projects recently: when I check the 'allow network access' option for a Flash pano (to test URLs in hotspots) and test it from my hard drive, the higher-res cube faces don't display as I zoom… only the smallest size which I've set to 'embed'. When hosted remotely the multi-res ...

Re: Pano2VR 4.5 announced so where is

From what Thomas announced in Iceland, there are enough additional features (multi-res in HTML5, new skin editor (non-modal, live preview, unlimited undo/redo etc) new package export)that this warrants a leap from 4.1 to 4.5. Definitely more than just a point release, sounds like great news for us a...

Re: Issue editing skin.xml

Result, that's done it! Thanks Hopki… seems the issue was zipping up the enclosing folder. Dragging the contents of the folder works a treat…

I'll be buying you a beer in Selfoss for sure, thanks again! :D

Re: Issue editing skin.xml

Thanks Hopki, appreciate the quick response. OK, I've tried this again using Keko (cool app, didn't know it so thanks for making me aware of it) and have followed your steps. Once I unzipped the original skin using Keko, I renamed the folder to something else. Then I edited the skin.xml, saved it, a...

Re: Issue editing skin.xml

Wanted to resurrect this as I've had the same issue again. Duplicated skin to new location Changed file suffix from .ggsk to .zip Unzipped (using the default OS Archive Utility; also tried iZip and The Unarchiver Edited skin.xml in text editor (used TextWrangler, also tried TextEdit) saved skin.xml ...

Re: Issue editing skin.xml

I was going to say I've since upgraded to 10.8.x and the final release of P2VR4 Pro so I'd need to test it again.

However I've just seen HMS Beagle's useful reply, confirming its the OSlevel compression… thanks for clarifying that. Future batch editing will make my life much easier again!

Re: Pano2VR 4.0 beta 3 bug reporting

Problem solved thanks to Thomas… there was an issue with a character in a hotspot title which caused it to fail. Now resolved :)
