Latest Streetview/Google Maps guidance
Hi guys Hope it's ok to ask a semi related question here re. Google Maps publishing? I've been asked to create a small tour for Google Maps which will consist of approx 8 photos of a business. The client wants to be able to 'walk around' in Google Maps. 1 - Photo Distance Is it still a case that for...

PHP suffix
Hi Hopki
When exporting a tour, an index file is produced with an .html suffix.
Could it be possible to export as index.php instead?
I realise I can simply rename the extension after export but wondered if there was a way to automate it.
Thanks
P

Hand cursor
Is it possible to swap the default arrow cursor in Pano2VR 6.0.4?
When dragging, I'd like to change to the 'grab' cursor which I think is a little more realistic.
Thanks

Re: FFMpeg Link
Thanks Karyn
I got it to work by using the first link (https://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/) which seems to give me an executable I can point to in the preferences.
In the second it seems to launch a terminal script but not provide something I can point Pano2VR at.
All working now

FFMpeg Link
Hi The link in the documentation to OSX FFMPeG is no longer relevant: https://ggnome.com/doc/pano2vr/5/glossary/ffmpeg/ Possibly the same in the preferences too. Is there an updated URL and instructions? I obviously Googled, found a download but the downloadable fails to initialise when creating a v...

Re: Post 360˚ Panoramas to Twitter - Updated for V5
Hi Tony
The first example doesn't work for me on Chrome or Firefox (on Mac).
https://twitter.com/tonyredhead/status/ ... 2718715905
Does it need updating or is this an issue at my end?

Matterport circles / Google arrows
Hi guys I had an enquiry the other day from a lead and one of their requirements was horizontal floor-level navigation. Normally what I do it have a circle but it's floating vertically in the tour and links to a room. How Matterport do this is slightly different. Their room hotspots are slightly opa...

360 Photo to YouTube
Hi Hopki We can save 360 Photos with simple pan and zoom animation etc and export for YouTube. This video file will play in a linear timeline but doesn't allow any user input. Does Pano2VR allow me to save a 360 equi photo as a video so that it can be added to YouTube and Twitter or any platform tha...

Re: Unique image per hotspot
Thanks HopkiHopki wrote:Hi sparrow,
You would use Skin-ID in the hotspot viewer mode and the relevant hotspot templates in the skin.
Hopki
I thought something along those lines may be the answer. Should work fine for a relatively small tour.

Re: Logic block based on HTTP host
Hey Hopki You could just replace the logo Image, but leave the filename the same? I certainly could and that's not a bad idea. Unfortunately though I'd still have to generate two separate Output folders with all the files. I just did a small 10 node tour and the Output folder was 400+ MB so I'm kee...

Unique image per hotspot
Hi I have a 5 node tour and each node is connected via a hotspot. My hotspot is a custom arrow graphic with a mouse-over. Client has come back and asked if each hotspot can be a unique graphic (PNG) saying Visit The Bar Visit The Lobby Visit The Gym etc... I can easily do this by creating a PNG for ...
