Re: Can we execute javascript function from inside HTML5 pan

"onClick" is one event that can initiate an action. In my case, yes I used it. The resulting action of executing javascript remains elusive. Makes no sense to me as to why. But I gather there are few who have an interest in doing something like this. It is too bad. There is some great func...

Re: BIG path parsing bug in Pano2VR v3.1

It is not a bug, it is a feature. The images for the panorama are now loaded relative to the XML file, instead of the HTML. This makes it easier (or sometimes posible) to use CMS systems. Thomas, you may well understand this better than me, but I am skeptical. Based on CMS systems that I have seen ...

BIG path parsing bug in Pano2VR v3.1

A significant file path parsing bug was introduced with Pano2VR v3.1, at least with the HTML5 skins.js file. In the past it hasn't mattered where a Pano2VR XML file resided. All paths in it were relative to the site root (where the calling HTML and the skin.js files reside). That seems to be the sta...

Re: Can we execute javascript function from inside HTML5 pan

Have you tried it? An obvious question that I should have answered from the start. Yes. I tried it but it didn't work and that makes no sense to me for the reason stated. Thomas probably knows the answer to this. If there is no way to make it work currently it sure would be a great addition for a f...

Re: html5 iPhone issues

Take a look at the KB documents in the Wiki: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Pano2VR_-_Knowledge_base_-_HTML5_Cube_Face_Size_for_Apple_Devices There seems to be some inconsistancies that I hope someone can clear up. In the above doc it states: When setting up the Mobile output please use the fo...

Re: Background music and commentary

But im wondering if there is a way to use a hotspot that will stop or pause the music and play a new sound file (commentary for the particualar scene). I don't know if this is the best approach but my suggestion: You can add any number of sounds to a scene via the panoramic sound section of the sou...

Can we execute javascript function from inside HTML5 pano?

I would like to execute a javascript function (defined on the web page) as a result of clicking a button within an HTML5 pano. By my understanding this should easily be done using the "Go To URL" action. Instead of the URL being "http://mypage.html" it could be "javascript:m...

Different sounds with each pano. One button to control all?

This has to do with HTML5 and sound control. I have a tour where each pano has its own sound. Changing sounds with each pano is no problem but how do I control overall sound across the tour. In its simplest form lets say the viewer wants to turn off all sound. He clicks the sound off button. But wit...

Re: Howto use Different _background music

I'll be the first to admit that sound control is proving frustrating and confusing, but what Arjan wants to do seems easy enough, unless I'm missing something. Simply give all the tracks the same ID, say _background. When you go to a new building, the sound track connected to the entrance pano will ...

Re: how do you disable autorotation on startup?

Excellent!

Maybe I missed it in the skin actions wiki, but if not there I humbly suggest that it should be (along with any other undocumented skin actions, unless I'm just not seeing them).

how do you disable autorotation on startup?

I want autorotation for my panos, including a delay and return to horizon but... I don't want this to happen at startup. I want it to start only after the user clicks a "start" button. It may be staring me in the face but I don't see how to do this. BTW, I'm trying to do this in HTML5 code...

Re: Modify sound crashing Pano2VR

Curiouser and curiouser.... I no longer believe the 32bit version was the cure. Instead, the crashes only seems to happen after double clicking an existing project to open it (or right clicking and selecting "open"). If I instead open by dragging the project onto the desktop shortcut for P...

Last word on iPhone tile size(s)???

It seems pretty clear that a max screen size of 1025 and a tile size of 960 is the accepted standard for iPad 1&2 (and also iTouch4 and iPhone 4G??). But what other settings are needed to get the most from other iDevices? At least the iPhone 3G. In short, what combinations of Max screen sizes an...

Re: Modify sound crashing Pano2VR

Strange, but the problem is resolved. The crash happened when opening an existing project then trying to open hotspots, default view or sound. For some reason I thought for sure I had tested that originally and found only sound had the problem. I backed off to an earlier version of the ATI drivers. ...

Re: Modify sound crashing Pano2VR

Hopki

By "generic" do you mean the drivers that come with Windows7 itself?

I'm curious that this hasn't been reported by others. I'm surely not the only one running with current ATI drivers. That suggests there is still something more at play in my particular system.
