Re: Web links with text boxes
...What I did was cut and paste the text...from the help document... That is a very reasonable thing to do. Looks like it's been fixed, but here's a coding tip: At times like that, just to be sure, I sometimes cut-n-paste into an ASCII text editor first, such as Notepad on a Windows PC, then cut-n-...

Re: Large flat HTML in 4.5beta crashing
As a workaround for a "flat" pano in HTML5, try using cylindrical, and setting the Hor FoV to around 30. That might be okay for photographs, but not for maps and plans - the horizontal and vertical lines must be straight, not even slightly bent. In that sense, the pano2vr flash flat image...

Re: Pan/Rotation Speed by using keyboard
Perhaps try this. Seems reasonable. Just a thought. Step #1. Refer to this article about using keyboard functions in javascript. Create a similar javascript function in your pano.html page. In step #2, use the control-plus keys to increase speed. Use control-minus keys to decrease speed. http://www....

...this was the one feature I wanted to use. ...While my pano outputs will remain 100% html5, I am considering ways to use flash for only the flat images, until [pano2vr] version 5.x is released. Rob, another option I am considering is: 1. Use something like Zoomify html5 Developer ($50 USD) to gen...

Re: Tour on a TV, possible?
John, I'm no skin scaling expert or I'd provide a solid answer. However, this phrase "site:gardengnomesoftware.com scale skin mobile device" in Google Search returns lots of results, especially this Pano2vr tutorial on the subject of outputting to mobile devices: http://gardengnomesoftware...

Re: Tour on a TV, possible?
Hi Dave, I needed to look up "smart TV" myself - first time I'd ever heard a TV called smart: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_TV Seems to me a "smart TV" could be similar to browsing the web on a Wii or an xBox...which should be similar to any other Internet device, in an idea...

Pano2vr version 3.1. There are similar past posts in this forum, but nothing exactly like yours.

...this was the one feature I wanted to use. Yup, agreed. I see issue #0000078 got moved to version 5.x on the roadmap. That's okay. Re: HTML Issues for Virtual Tours
For what it's worth, I no longer have pano2vr 4.1 pro installed. Instead I tried to reproduce the problem on pano2vr 4.5 pro on Win7. Both the straight html5 output and the flash output worked fine with "Chateau d'eau" in the description field. If the single-quote is the problem, have you ...

Re: HTML5: Click & drag not responsive outside of vieweable
Kirby, I agree with you. The ability to mouse-down inside and then navigate outside the perimeter of an html5 pano perimeter is a desirable behavior. Until someday, this is what I do to work-around: "Change Control Mode" so the mouse-down does not need to travel outside the perimeter of th...

For html5 panos: testing today shows keyboard navigation works immediately after onload in IE10, Firefox23 and Chrome25. Html5 testing was done on a PC with a pano2vr beta 4.5 html5 pano. For flash panos: keyboard navigation does not work immediately after onload in IE10, Firefox23 or Chrome25. Flas...

Re: Google Analytics and virtual tours
Wish I had more time, here are a couple of quick observations. Maybe they help? 1. Try this: javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', $ud, 'Pan Left']); instead of this: javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', '$ud', 'Pan Left']); because $ud is a variable. Putting quotes around a variable makes it literal...

... on ipad and iphone the tour squashes into a very thin letterbox. Any thoughts? ... Your home page displayed squashed on my Windows 7 laptop too. Try the "Fullscreen" option found in the skin editor >> HTML tab. That will open the pano full-browser. Note, full-browser is not the same a...
