One other question related to the above. There seems to be a maximum character length for the text. Any way around this?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Area hotspots within a tour
Thanks for pointing that out Martin. Any idea when the next update is being released? I see where it says "Scheduled For Release 2011-09-30" ???
Thanks again,
Tony

Area hotspots within a tour
I have several panoramas within a tour and only one of them has area hotspots defined. The area hotspots work properly except when a panorama is loaded other than the one with the area hotspots, the mouse pointer changes to a small white 3D arrow (see attached image) rather than the default circle. ...

Area hotspot text and pointer
Is there a way to disable the lowercase "i" that appears next to the pointer when hovering over an area hotspot? Also, is there a way to customize the text box color and border like with point hotspots? I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere, I couldn't find the answer in my sear...

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
Possibly figured this out! While researching other issues on the forum, I ran across one of your (Martin) posts where you mentioned putting a "loader" hotspot in every panorama then calling the Loaded action in the skin for that hotspot. That seems to solve my issue above. I was not putti...

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
Thanks Martin. I tried that and it works but I would like to be able to fade it in and out. I can live with it though. I've still been trying to figure out why the loaded action does not work with a hotspot template. I have 3 other hotspot templates in my skin (one being the lens flare and the other...

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
Hi Martin, I finally got around to testing the skin again. This time I picked up a tip you gave in another thread and put Mouse Click => Set Text => Text: $ui => Target: external image in the information button element rather than using Loaded => Set Text => Text: $ui => Target: external image in th...

Re: Multiple video/youtube embed issues
I wasn't suggesting that removing a hotspot template was a solution. Rather, I was curious if that solved the issue since you mentioned you had several hotspots in the panorama. I'm having a very similar problem where I'm trying to load a separate .png file into the external image loader depending o...

Re: Multiple video/youtube embed issues
I'm having similar issues with hotspot templates as well. Martin has graciously offered to look at my skin project but I haven't had the time to send it to him yet. It seems that having other hotspot templates in the skin is causing some sort of conflict. I had three other hotspot templates in my sk...

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
Still no luck. Any idea why my current hotspot templates (I have 3) would be conflicting with a 4th hotspot template's "Loaded" action?
Thanks,
Tony

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
Once again, thank you Martin for posting this simple project. I cut and pasted your hotspot template and external loader into my skin and it still didn't work so I began eliminating elements in my skin one at a time. It appears that the presence of my hotspot templates seem to be the problem. When I...

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
Hi Martin, Thank you for all of your correspondence. I'm still racking my brain trying to figure out why this isn't working. I created a simple skin with just an external image loader and two buttons. The two buttons simply loaded a different panorama. When I clicked each button, the respective pano...

Re: Placing a different pop-up info window for each flash
I've been trying to get this to work without any luck. Instead of using a hotspot template, I placed the following in the external image loader: Loaded => Set Text => Text: $ui => Target: $self Points: I've also tried using a hotspot template like in Hopki's example and it didn't work at all. I can ...

Re: Detecting Sound Files
Hi Hopki, Thanks for the insight! I already had containers linked to hotspots via proxy ID's so this made it very easy. Thank you for sparking the idea! I created 2 additional containers (SoundEnabled and SoundDisabled) which handle the visibility of the "sound" button and the "no sou...

Detecting Sound Files
I'm wondering if there is a way to detect if a sound file exists for the currently loaded panorama. For example, I have a button that controls whether the sound is ON/OFF but not all panoramas in the tour have a sound file associated with them. Is there a way to determine whether the sound button sh...
