Re: DVD, CD, SD card or other source
I don't see why not. From SD and CD, you can still run the HTML in browser. Or convert the SWF to Standalone Player *.EXE If you have Flash application, the standalone will come stock with the program, for desktop work preview. If you don't have it, then you can download the standalone player WIN an...

Re: Rounded text box
Hi there Witold :) I don't believe you can. What you could do tho, is to turn the background and outline OFF, then draw your own preferred shape in Photoshop or Illustrator, import as GIF or PNG into the Skin Editor, then place it below the text field. Of course, the downside is that if you have mul...

Re: Trouble showing a panorama
I think is had something to do with the image used for the panorama. It's quite odd looking, partial stitch.

Re: Hacked Kinect Controls Win7 = Pano2VR ?
It's possible to do it with pano2vr files. In fact I have just done testing of it few weeks ago. I'm developing an interactive content for a very large company's library. I can't give all the details right now, due to the NDA, but I will publish more info regarding this project once it's officially ...

Re: Help me make a skin...
You can google for some free icons, there are plenty of really well done sets which you can use for your interface. For example: http://min.frexy.com/ Many of these icons are suitable for navigation use, while other could be modified fairly easily to suit it. http://sixrevisions.com/user-interface/3...

Re: Import Pano2VR swf into another swf
Easiest way to achieve that, as said by darkHorse. Open your Flash file, hit CTRL+F8 to crate new movie clip. This will create an empty clip. Open library CTRL+L and drag that clip on desired Layer on stage. Select that newly made clip and hit CTRL+F3 to open the property panel, and there ,under INS...

Re: Import Pano2VR swf into another swf
You could create empty movie clip using AS MovieClip.createEmptyMovieClip , or create actual movie clip on stage, then load that SWF into that clip. By using AS to create clip holder, you can control the clip's depth, while creating a clip holder on stage, you can use layers to control its depth. If...

Re: Embedding in wordpress
This is if you were to take your car, putting on a flatbed truck, and drive the truck, rather than the actual car. The embed and object tags are very much standard. There are no other ways to embed active content within HTML document. You can use regular tags or much more elaborate like SWFOBJECT, w...

Re: External hosting tour
Perhaps it could be related to Adobe's cross domain policy and security permission.
It's certainty the case with loading variables across domains, it was introduced to prevent people from hijacking and loading content from outside the domain.

Re: External hosting tour
Do the hotspots use relative or absolute URL ?
Perhaps you should be consistent throughout ? Secondly, mind me asking why would you use absolute url if it runs within your domain and hosting?

Re: Embedding Smooth panos in Flash8 or 9/10
1. Is there a way to embed pano9/10 files into Flash8 .fla? (Probably not, but I need to ask) No there is no way. You can load pano 8 into flash 9/10 file but not the other way around. The new scripting and new features which has been introduced in later players, are never supported in older versio...

Re: Can't make Loading Bar work
It could be that you are missing something obvious, too obvious to notice. It will be hard for us to guess without actual sample, as there are many places thing could go wrong. Did you try to use the ready loader instead of making one from scratch? You can fully customize it to your taste, and it wi...

Re: Remove domain lock without original image?
Can't really do that unless you have the source file to re-export it with new or without domain lock.
Anyway, for now, you can recover the images here:

2880 pixel cube face size limit in Flash 9 - this is not a problem? Hi there wigi Not really a problem at the moment. Even tho the bitmapdatas and player specs went up, to accommodate up to 4000x4000, the highest commercial resolutions are still around 2560 by 1440 pixels (like the latest 27" ...
