Re: Help with cropping SWF

Why not just export your stitched panorama as a cylindrical image (as TIFF, JPEG or PNG) and then import that image into Pano2VR? Make sure it recognizes it as a cylindrical image. If you'd like to "crop" the image (equirectangular), you can use the viewing limits to keep the user from loo...

Did you convert the images to the 3x2 video format?

Re: a few question

What exactly is not good enough? The tutorials or the Forum thread I posted. The hotspot tutorials explain how to use a hotspot to go to another panorama and back to the original panorama (as described here: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Hotspot_Tutorial#Part_2:_Using_Hotspots_to_Link_to_Other...

Re: Quicktime and Hotspots

Hi Leonardo, Welcome to the forums! In order for your flash hotspots to work, you need to set the Flash security settings for local access: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html (see this thread, too: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/viewtopi...

Re: Trial license has expired!? I'm not using a trial license!

This is happening because the license key you are using is not a legit key (usually taken from key generator). Once you enter a legit key and re-output the panos, the message will go away.

Re: flv maximum 2880 1920??

The 2880x1920 is a 3:2 resolution that we used to transform the video to a 3x2 video format which makes each cube face 960 pixels. I'm not sure exactly what you want to do. Once the quicktime movie (image sequence) is set with a 3x2 format, you add that movie to the Flash Video Encoder, set the data...

Re: viewing limits

First, I must say, what a stunning kitchen. Everything seems to work as it should. You set left and right limits. Top and Bottom work fine. Make sure your top and bottom limits are set to 90º and -90º, respectively. If no limits are applied, the Left should show 360º and the Right should show, 0º. P...

Re: Pano2VR "out of memory" frequently

Roy, Which version of Pano2VR are you using? I'm almost certain this was a problem that should have been fixed with the latest version (2.3.2). If your images are too large, they may suck too much RAM. You can turn off Edit cubefaces as horizontal cross in the preferences (see: http://gardengnomesof...

Re: How to trigger mouse over in map when hovering hotspot?

Hopki wrote: In the skin editor:
Set your maps hotspots and add your actions to change on hover etc.
Then in the Hotspot Proxy-ID of the map hotspot enter the ID of the point hotspot, in this case, view 1.
Ah yes, using proxies is the smarter way to go about this. Thanks Hopki!!

Re: Flat image input and tour problem

I'm happy you got it working. But this is still strange behavior. Your panorama should load just fine whether you have 1 or 3 sub tiles. The SWFs I used all had 3 sub tiles. Something else may be the culprit here...

Re: How to trigger mouse over in map when hovering hotspot?

Ah...I think I understand. Just to reiterate: You want the hotspot in the image to animate when the mouse enters the dot on the map (which also animates) and vice versa. Easier than you might think. Just add some more actions. You add another set of Mouse Enter/Leave to the dot in the map and make s...

Hi Dennis,

Are you talking about the appropriate mouse enter/leave actions to the hotspot images? See attached image. Maybe you need to watch part 5?

Oh my!! I'm happy you got everything working again! I didn't think about permissions (I guess because with my computers I didn't have any permissions problems...sorry about that!). I'll take a look at your project as soon as I can.

Re: Flat image input and tour problem

I'm not sure my PM are being sent out... I'd suggest first trying your project on a server. If you are on a Mac, you can turn your computer into a temporary server. In your home directory, you'll see a folder called "Sites." In that folder, replace the current index.html with the html file...
