Re: new home page - what do you think...?

Great job Stu! IMO you have made the the best use of Pano2VR for property tours that I have seen so far on any platform, and I have seen many! Very intuitive and easy to navigate. I really like how you incorporate stills, floor plans, maps, etc without the tour canvas looking too "busy". E...

Re: Single Row Cylindrical Panoramas

Funny you mention that....I am ordering the NN3 MkII this week... :D For that "tour" here was my workflow: Batch stitch the images Clean up control points, crop and render (The RMS on all those panoramas were between 2.6 and 3.2) Batch process with a droplet in Pano2VR to create the Flash ...

Re: Single Row Cylindrical Panoramas

Hi Judy, Thanks for your reply. Yes my projection is cylindrical when I stitch the images. I found that if I stitch in Sperical projection and create an equirectangular canvas in Photoshop and move the image off center vertically I can correct the problem. I did not try that method with a partial ho...

Single Row Cylindrical Panoramas

Hi All! I'm finally getting ready to start actually using Pano2VR in real world applications after a few months of trying to learn this "Pano" business! I have a question about cylindrical panoramas. The situation I am running into is that my single row panoramas have "curved" ho...

Margin Question

Happy New Year everyone! I reviewed info about margins here: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Skin_Editor_Margins#Set_The_Margins What I would like to know is if it is possible to have the margin be a percentage of the skin width versus a set pixel width. I would like to make a skin similar to th...

Re: Launching a video

Thanks Hopki, I have my Safari issue resolved. Thank God I have a javascript genius that I work with on my website projects. My flash tour AND tabs now work on IE9, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. My plan is to have a Flash skin and an HTML5 skin. Using a device detection script I will serve the appropr...

Re: Launching a video

Thanks for that info Hopki!

I got a little busy and finally determined another issue I was having was my own bad....Safari will not work with flash even on a Windows machine, I thought it was an IOS thing...I guess I need to learn that HTML5/Flash fallback method.

Re: javascript conflict in Safari

Ahhh haaa,

Turns out it was my bad...Safari needs an HTML5 file, the flash file is what caused the problem...now I can proceed!

Re: javascript conflict in Safari

Sorry Texas...overlooked that. This issue with the tabs is driving me nuts!!!..lol. I tried the jQuery noConflict() and a few other solutions but still cant figure it out. I know there is a workaround, just was hoping it would be a bit easier to find/figure out. If anyone reading has a Mac, could yo...

Re: javascript conflict in Safari

Thanks for your reply Texas! Did you view that with Safari? If so IOS or Windows? That "fatal error" is a little bug with the gallery player that I have to fix, but I have the solution. More important to me is that the tabs work on Safari. I think this set up works best for RE tours. It le...

javascript conflict in Safari

Hi! I had posted earlier about including video in my tour. Well after weighing my options I decided to include a virtual tour, video and a photo gallery in separate "panels". This will work out nicely for what I want (Real Estate Tours) and lets each component do what it does best. I am us...

Re: Launching a video

Thanks Hopki, I am trying to build a unique tour skin the is geared towards the high-end market here in South Florida. It's a tough market as there are two national tour providers that pretty much dominate the market here. Here is what an agent or broker can get for about $130.00: http://homesite.ob...

Re: Launching a video

Quick and dirty solution: Let Pano2VR do what it does best and forget about video inside the player. I don't need anything cute like embedded video in a panorama. I just need the viewer to be able to view a video of the property. It would be nice to have the video inside the tour player, but the mor...
