Re: Help.... External image
Problem solved... Special thanks to Martin here for all his help. It's easy to be tripped up by the simplest things. If you try to load and external image with a filename Sams_ B ar.JPG and name it Sams_ b ar.JPG in the skin, it will load on the local machine but will not load on the site because al...

Re: Help.... External image
Thanks Hopki, I made sure that the element was positioned correctly, but it still would not work. I moved the flash all over the place within the hierarchy and in all cases it appeared locally, but not on the website. Although not a great solution, I converted the jpg to a flash swf file and it load...

Help.... External image
Hi Folks, I'm using the external image/flash element with the set text parameter to place an external image. The image is in the same directory and works fine locally, but will not load on the site. I know I must be missing something but currently am lost as to why this is not working. This is what ...

Audio event
Hi Folks, Is there any possible way that p2vr is able to broadcast an event which would indicate that a sound file has finished playing? I have a text box displaying text which is being read aloud from an mp3 file. I would like the text box to slide off the screen when the narration is finished. Rig...

Google Analytics
Hello Folks, Not being a flash programmer, I wonder if anyone knew how to, or had any experience with the Google Analytics Flash Component. I use Google Analytics in websites, and was hoping there was a painless way of dropping the tracking code using the Flash Component into a Pano2VR file. Thanks ...

Windows/Mac/Linux
Hello folks, A potential client here as asked me to describe how the end user experience (to Pano2VR panos/tours) could vary for individuals using Windows, Mac or Linux systems. I have been able to test out on Windows and Mac and found no difference. Has anyone tested a sample tour on a Linux system...

Thanks...
I just tried the multi-resolution feature and have to say thanks Thomas, and the team... This is really smooth and ridiculously easy to use. No more playing a balancing act of deciding to go with faster download times or higher resolutions; this is the best of both worlds.
Cheers

Re: Sound delay
Thanks Hopki,
That is exactly what I'm trying to achieve; the voice-over waits until the pano is fully loaded before starting. I just can't figure out what event you are monitoring to trigger the playing of the sound file.
Cheers

Sound delay
Hi Folks,
I have a sound that begins when the pano begins. It there any way to add a delay to the "play sound" until the pano has fully loaded?
Cheers

Re: Function disappeared
What size is the panorama image? Have you converted to cube faces? Have you used the selection check box in File>Settings>Output File Suffix: "Edit Cube Faces as Horizontal Cross"? What size should the .png file be? Regards, Smooth 8) Sorry Smooth for not addressing your other comments. N...

Re: Function disappeared
Postscript! I hope my last statement about installing Object2VR on a different computer scared anyone! I don't believe I will have to do this. I was about to suggest that Thomas distribute the installation package as I do; that is, keep all the application specific dependencies in the program file d...

Re: Function disappeared
It is now working!
I did a system restore and re-installed Pano2VR and it is now working. I am tempted to install Object2VR on a different computer to be sure of no conflicts!
Cheers, and thanks all

Re: Function disappeared
This has been mentioned before. See this thread You need to make sure each program is installed in a separate directory. You don't want them sharing folders/directories and thus, resources. Regards, Smooth 8) Thanks Smooth, but they were installed in separate directories, the problem mentioned in t...

Re: Function disappeared
More strange behaviour... I uninstalled Object2VR and Pano2VR was; without me asking uninstalled also! I reinstalled Pano2VR, then uninstalled it again manually. I used CCleaner to clean the registry then reinatalled just Pano2VR. The program started, and I was surprised to see that it was still reg...
