Re: Beta 3 Multi-res tour not working in Firefox Mac
Another thing to consider: http://www.judyarndt.ca/ is a different domain than http://judyarndt.ca/ So if your looking at your tour at http://www.judyarndt.ca/... and the path to the swf's is http://judyarndt.ca/... your hotlink protection might kick in.

Re: interactive 'flat' pano bug
Thank you, man from the moon.
The real problem for me is that I need it to work for iStuff, since I want to create a simple navigation map to reach my html 5 pano's. But the 'flat' pano in html5 just floats around like a lonely cubeface in a pool of black cube faces. Unfortunately.

Ronald

interactive 'flat' pano bug
I'm trying to make an interactive map. Before I got to the point of adding hotspots, I noticed strange behavior in the panning part. The map image I'm using is 600x600, I'm trying to put it an a 480x320px window. 'Till 420x320px window it works as I want, see here , but as soon as I change the windo...

Re: HTML templates for Pano2VR 3
Hoi Wim, if you look in the source of http://gardengnomesoftware.com/samples/pano2vr_3/tour/ you will see a reference to modernizr-1.5.min.js which does the trick switching between flash and html 5 devices, for more info see http://www.modernizr.com/ The trick of switching between different iThings ...

Ah okay, maybe there is a reason why fullscreen.ggt doesn't exist under html5.
Tnx

100% browser window in html 5?
How do I set the tour or pano at a percentage of the browser window in the html 5 versions? It seems I can only put absolute size in the container div.
Tnx,
Ronald

Importing date/time user data into html template
I would like to import the date/time field from the user data into a html template. I figured out for all fields is document.writeEncoded(config.userdata.title), just change title into any of the other field names. But I can't figure out how the date/time field is named.
Anyone?

Re: 'Draggable' map
Thanx Mdholl, I will experiment a bit with flash 8 version later today. Stu, that site you mention is not really google maps integrated in p2vr. It's just a map with links to different panorama's. That can easily be done by using for example http://mapmaker.donkeymagic.co.uk. You can use basic html ...

Re: 'Draggable' map
lol! Yes, after checking both files more times than I'm willing to admit, I'm pretty sure that they are 2 different files. The panorama is named "1_cube_out.swf" the map file is "map.swf". If no one knows what's going on I will upload the files tomorrow. Thank you, Ronald **edit:...

Re: 'Draggable' map
Thank you Tomas. I have created a file called map.swf, with no hotspots yet, by importing the map image as 'flat' file, and exporting it as swf without using any skin file. Then I created a panorama, with in the skin Eric Leeman's method to show a swf file, calling the map in a text box with the lin...

'Draggable' map
Is it possible to create a kind of view port in the pano2vr skin in which you can drag around an image with hotspots to other pano's that is to big to put directly on top of the pano? Like when you embed Google maps in a website? I know that easypano and 3dvista have had this function for a long tim...

Re: 3 questions: autoplay, preload, GIF
Tnx for the tips Erik. Guess I will have to find some flash crash course.
Smooth, priceless as always, how did you do that? Is there some Ubercompression technique in flash available?
Regards,
Ronald

Can't find the export to swf function in Photoshop CS4 btw. I import the gif in flash and publish the movie as swf file from there.

Re: 3 questions: autoplay, preload, GIF
Hoi Erik,
I didn't think that would be the case in external loaded images.
The increase in file size is IMHO not really a 'small' price (from 200kb to 1.4mb). Ah well, maybe I'll just have to skip the animation part.
Groeten,
Ronald
