control scrolling with position on the page

Has anyone controlled the rotation of a 360 in Object2vr with an external javascript, and then changed the rotation based on scrolling of the page.

IE As the page scrolls down, scroll left on the 360, as the page scrolls up, scroll right?

Re: FACEBOOK Panos'

I got the meta data from here https://developers.google.com/streetview/spherical-metadata#example_of_a_full_photo_sphere I then opened photoshop, went to file info on an existing pano. Exported the exif data. Opened the exif data with a text editor. add the example exif from the above link near the ...

Re: Cardboard with object2VR: is possible?

The issue that we have had with a single point 360 that is displayed in the vr headgear, (and remember that the user interface still has to be a mouse) is that it is FLAT and does not show the depth of the object in the rotation. That is why we stared working towards the true 3d view first. I have f...

Re: Center player in browser

I wrap it in an outer div that centers, then shows the 360 container inside.

Re: Color Changes on Products

The Forester example uses "reel" as the 360 player. The way that it handles assets is a little bit different than Object2vr. In all reality, they are loading the view the same way that I am suggesting. When you click on one of the links on the right, it is changing and then loading the ima...

Re: Color Changes on Products

Svendus, I agree, it is a great way to show the colors and types, but it is the overhead of loading all of the images that I do not like about doing it that way. It makes the 360 way to big, I might think about having the navigation in the skin and then have each of the 360's separate. This way it d...

Color Changes on Products

Here is the first stage of a project we are working on. Shoot 54 items and then do 8 way color changes on them.

Color Changing 360's

At some point, I will compile them into the 54 items and have color buttons, but not yet.

Here is a full 360 with the same process. Anyone that has red-blue glasses can take a look.

Re: Cardboard with object2VR: is possible?

I have played with this idea a few times over the years. If you shoot a table top item, and have 5 degrees between the shots, you can use the odd shots for the left eye and the even shots for the right eye. Not if you shoot at a little over 10 degrees between shots, you can use the first shot for th...

Re: An Animated Backpack

Back in the days of Apple Qtvr, I made a few full 10 row 360's that had animation as well. Most of the time today, if I am doing animations it is in a single rotation, and not on multiple rows. Here is one that will give you an idea. Sorry but it is only available in SWF format!!! http://www.photosp...

Re: HTML5 Multi Row Object – missing Frames in IE

I have had similar issues in the past. I remove all the images, and add them back and there you go they are there. from time to time I have had issues with some of the images being edited out of the normal production run and they are not in the right format as well. You usually will see that the ima...

I always have a love of the work so many do on the Pano side of the world. I just never can get it right. Leave me in the studio with some product and I will have fun any day.

An Animated Backpack

We had a great time with this product. It show that with a little setup and some time, you can do more than just spin a product around. 40 Shots for the rotation, and 100 images in the animations. http://www.photospherix.com/3d-view/fitfactory-animated-backpack/ On a side note: It would be great if ...
