My spin on this wish list:
For a kiosk installation I'm working on, it would be great if a P2VR timer might record the time since the last user input. Thus, if no user has been at the kiosk after a set period of time, the VR tour could be made to return to its default node.

Re: Full-screen HTML5 crashes FireFox
I suspect your reference to 'Crash' means you had to cold boot the device to recover. Nope. Just had to force-quit FireFox, as it was "unresponsive;" not the computer (MacBook Pro). I'm troubled by the fact the the HTML5 "full-screen" button didn't seem to work for you in IE. I ...

Re: Full-screen HTML5 crashes FireFox
Hi Dave,
Would you please try this with your system, the Flash version. It's the exact same skin:

Full-screen HTML5 crashes FireFox
The latest version of FireFox on the Mac (v. 28) seems to crash when a Pano2VR (4.5beta2 pro) HTML5 "full-screen" button is pressed. See: http://www.allaroundnevada.com/wp-content/vr/nearly/salvation/combined/indexTablet.html This does not occur in either Safari or Chrome. Anyone else find...

Re: odd behaivour....
Try changing in the skin either the name of the floor plan or the name of the button. This happened to me, and changing the names (each of which included part of the other) solved it.

Re: viewing fullscreen on iPad...
I'm not sure this is relevant here, but if you're loading images into the VR with the Media Editor, I've noted that while the Pano2VR interface will accept image files other than .jpg (e.g. .tif files) and the output (with pop-up photos) will work fine using .tif files for Flash output, the HTML5 ou...

Re: Flash+HTML5 Multires Problem
If you are exporting both flash+html5 multiresolution panoramas and one of the levels in flash output is embed into swf, it is necessary to generate the tiles in html5 output. The embed tiles are not stored in the tiles folder. Got it! So... we can save time by not generating the Flash tiles. Gener...

Re: Flash+HTML5 Multires Problem
Kinda on this topic: One would think that, if all parameters are identical, that you would NOT need to "generate files" for the Multiresolution tiles for both Flash and HTML5. I was generating them only for Flash, to save time, thinking that the tiles could be used for both. However...afte...

Re: Flash+HTML5 Multires Problem
In my experience, Hopki's solution works only for full spherical panoramas. For cylindrical panos I've found it necessary to create separate Tiles folders for the Flash and for the HTML5 versions.
e.g.: tilesTablet/$n/c%c_l%r_%y_%x.jpg

Re: Unrelated to Pano2vr - Help stitching a troublesome 360!
I've had this issue with ptGUI also, especially with panos shot with long lenses in which it takes some 50-60 shots to complete the circle. My solution: stitch the pano together in segments, say each 90 degrees, with overlap on each end. Then combine in Photoshop.

Re: HTML5 Multires and Mobile settings
I've now discovered that you can't use the same "tiles" folder when doing multi-res for a cylindrical pano for both Flash and HTML5. This appears to be due to the different methods the programs uses to create the files. It seems that for the HTML5 multi-res from a cylinder, Pano2VR first c...

Re: HTML5 Multires and Mobile settings
Ah... I see. I should have figured that the sizes would need to be identical for the tiles w/both the Flash and the HTML5 multi-res. Now it works with but a single "tiles" folder:

possible "do not generate files" bug
It seems that the Flash output ignores the multi-resolution option to not generate files. Whether box is checked or not files are generated.
This options works OK in HTML5 output.

Re: HTML5 Multires and Mobile settings
Thanks, Martin.
I'll need to try this again. When I first tried using only one "tiles" folder (generated by the HTML multires tab) the Flash version was composed of a mishmash of tiles, creating a completely abstracted version of the panorama.
