Re: Several problems about the url field in hotspot
HI, What I've found is thet you can create a folder structure when making a tour either on your local drive, or using XAMPP. But you really need to duplicate that at some point when you transfer this to a live server. So you can use relative references as in ../project/VRfile.swf in the go to next p...

Re: Skin Editor Margins Problem
Here's my example - hope it helps clarify the situion Ive not used the rectanges, but I have used margins....you can see in the screenshot that the toolbar is set in the middle of the bottom of the editor. But I have set the bottom margin to be 100 px up from the bottom. I've also filled the HTML ba...

Re: Skin Editor Margins Problem
You don't need the rectangles - it works without them. Just set the margins within the skin. Having the rectangles set to the size of the margins helps you position other objects on the skin 'stage' - so they just help you indicate the edges of the panorama otherwise you don't visually see where the...

Re: External swfs
OK thanks for the reply. I'll try the centering thing now. Being able to pass flashvars somehow is the one I'm really desperate for - or I'm actually going to write a flash component myself and include the pano2vr generated one. But frankly I don' have time and I'm not really that up to speed with f...

External swfs
I'm loading an external swf (slideshowpro), and have a few questions about the best way to do this. It's working at present, but I could do with some suggestions to improve it. 1. Is there any way to pass flashvars to the embedded flash file. I can pass parameters using a file, but it relies on the ...

Re: SVG graphics questions
Sebastian,
thanks - That seems to answer most of the questions. Looks like it's worth generating over sates for the svg based buttons - even if they are going to be turned in to .pngs during the flash generation.

SVG graphics questions
I've a few questions about how we should use svg graphics in skins. There's quite a rich selection of free svg graphics out there, and they're quite easy to manipulate - so I've started using them! 1. Is it safe to use svg graphics in all situations - ie not bother using .png's in skins?? 2. If you ...

You can address multiple elements using regular expressions see http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Using_regular_expressions_to_address_multiple_elements Don't forget to watch the video... You can use external images and show then in an image box. see http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Popup_Image...

Re: FREE iPad style skin elements!
Very fast - thanks. But being told exactly how to do it also really helps. I've just spent quite some time working out how to re-colour svg graphics. Using the Illustrator edit colour|recolour artwork is very easy once you've worked out the difference between colour groups and swatches. Thee's a few...

Very nice. You don't have a question mark and an information icon in the same set do you?

Re: Stack of Two - (AS3 Preloader experiment)
Eric,
This looks very much like what I would like to do, though in my case presenting two panos next to each other but with synchronised movement. Any chance you would share your code to give me a head start

Javascript interface
I have a requirement to synchronise he movement of two panos next to each other. I think to get them dynamically rotating together I'd need to use the Flash api - but as an interim I've tried using the javascript api. My code is attached. Replace the swf file with one of your own choice - I don't wa...

Re: Hotspot file
Thanks Martin.
Don't use area hotspots so that's why I haven't come across it I expect.
Got any more info about Batch processing from the command line - I can't get it to work on my Mac.

Hotspot file
In the input dialog, there's a text box for a hotspot file. But I can't find any reference to what this is, and what format it is.
Can anyone enlighten me??
