Lost sound after uploading old tour to new wesite
Hi, this is surely not a P2VR problem, but I hope someone can help me. A tour from 2015, with sound, plays as expected from my local archive using krpano testing server. However with Apache (Wamp server) it has no sound when accessed from the same machine, either as localhost or by IP address. When ...

Re: HELP! P2VR crashed before I saved patched pano
OK, found it. Right-click on a patch hotspot, choose "update image". Now, that is REALLY obscure.

Re: HELP! P2VR crashed before I saved patched pano
Ooops, another problem: how to make P2VR re-apply the saved patches? That does not happen if I just save the panos.

Re: HELP! P2VR crashed before I saved patched pano
Thanks, guys. The backup option was indeed on and I have found a backup project with most of my work in it. Like many great features of P2VR, this one is too hard to find. How about adding a File menu item "open backup..." ? Version 4 had a stand-alone patch tool. Hopki, do you think that ...

Re: HELP! P2VR crashed before I saved patched pano
WHEW... The patch images are still open in Photoshop and I can see the pan, tilt, roll and fov parameters in the metadata. So there must be a way to apply them even though there is no project file?

HELP! P2VR crashed before I saved patched pano
On Win10, P2VR 5.2.2 pro crashed -- just vanished -- after I had extracted and applied 5 patches, when I tried to create a sixth one. 2 or 3 hours hard work down the drain. Or is it? The patch images still exist in the patches directory. Is there any way to recover them? I do not think I could recre...

convert Flash tours in place?
Is there a way to convert old flash-only PT2VR tours to support HTML5 without rebuilding them from source?

Re: HELP! How to delete zombie patch?
Yeah, well I worked out that "all you have to do" is...
-- select the patch by clicking on its icon on the pano display
-- press DEL key
However the option to delete should really be visible both on the properties tab and in the right-click popup menu.
P2VR is too cryptic by half.

HELP! How to delete zombie patch?
I created and extracted a patch in slightly wrong place. Closed PS without saving. Deleted the PSD file. Patch still in P2VR -- how to get rid of it? Worse, I created another patch, that got the same PSD file name; edited & saved; P2VR applied it twice in boththe new and zombie positions. The ha...

Re: default setting for
A big thank you from me, too, Hopki. I really like P2VR's patching facility but had been put off it by the need to fiddle with the transformation output controls every time. With the template it is a piece of cake. Well, I have had a bad experience with the patcher getting stuck when I did something...

Re: Stereo panos
bkiter, Two parallel cameras is best for stereo panos, because it prevents motion between the left and right eye images. They must be small to get the lens centers close together -- 65 to 70 mm is practical with MFT or the small Sonys, 80-90mm with compact full frame camera. And well synchronized to...

Re: Stereo panos
Hopki,
has there been any progress on the stereo player since January? I seem to recall trying it and concluding that it was promising but not fully usable.
BTW your "two rotator" single camera rig is a brilliant idea!

Re: Recovering cube faces from tiles
It has come to my attention that the current scheme for storing multiresolution tiles is even more obfuscated than before, supposedly to make it harder for bad guys to steal a panorama off the web. This is a false hope. There is no practical way prevent reconstructing a cube from tiles, for the simp...

Re: Recovering cube faces from tiles
Correction: P2VR tile file names have the same format as krpano ones, no need to rename.
