Hi Hopki,
I just tried that, and it does give the filepath for a skin file. When I do the same with Pano2VR (the program title) the filepath goes from MacBook Pro>Macintosh HD>Pano2VR Pro. So in that case the filepath skips the Application folder. Still - nice to learn a new trick.

Re: embarrassed to ask
Thanks Tony! I was not aware that there is more than one Library>Application Support and was looking in the wrong one. It appears that the search function excludes system files and that one has to specify this as a criterion as I just learned here: https://lifehacker.com/5711409/how-to-search-for-hi...

embarrassed to ask
I do practically all my work on a windows PC, but I also have a macbook pro. On windows it is easy to figure out where for instance the skin folder resides on the disk, but even though the folder shows up when opened from within Pano2VR, I cannot figure out where it is hiding on the disk, and doing ...

invert control mobile only
Is there a way to invert control for mobile devices only? I know that Google Maps seems to have convinced everybody that endlessly dragging your mouse across the screen to view a pano is "normal", but the non-inverted click-and-hold is a superior interface on a desktop or laptop.

autorotate parameters
When I click on "Start autorotate" the speed can be set in the pop-up window. But there are no parameters to set in the "Toggle Autorotate" pop-up window. How do I set the speed for "Toggle Autorotate..? http://sphericalpanoramas.com/start_autorotate.jpg http://sphericalpano...

Pano2vr5 mystery strip in tile folder
Pano2VR5 produces a strip of 512x3027 (the six cube sides in one vertical strip). I have tile size set to 500px, so what is that strip doing there and why is it using the default tile size of 512..? I am using level tile size 500px, multi resolution levels 2000 and 1000 (load at startup), and downlo...

Re: html5 flat panorama
Hi Martin, I finally found the problem, which only happens in html5: When there is a mix of regular hotspot links and hotspot templates links, each regular hotspot Skin-ID has to be re-set to "hotspot". When the hotspot Skin-ID shows a greyed-out "ht-node", it will not work if th...

Re: html5 flat panorama
There will be no Flash version - only html5. The tour is rather complex with 52 panos, one large map and 11 "local" maps with node markers. I just wanted to avoid rebuilding the skin from scratch by using the old flash skin as starting point. But I can't figure out what is causing the hots...

Re: html5 flat panorama
Using the test skin, I now added a local map with node markers and it is still working. So it seems that something else in the old Flash skin is causing the hotspots to disappear. I guess I will just have to redo the whole vr tour skin from scratch.

Re: html5 flat panorama
The project is rather big so I have thrown together a partial version. This is part of an old vr tour that needs to be redone using responsive design with Panno2VR5 pro's new tools. None of that is done yet. I used the old tour's Flash skin in html5 as a starting point and still need to do all the r...

html5 flat panorama
I know this has been discussed many times, but a forum search for "flat panorama" only gives 2016 and older results. I see that it is now possible to have a "flat" panorama in html5, I am trying to use this as a map, but when I click on a map hotspot and transition to the next (n...

Re: multiresolution download time vs cube faces and Mobile
Yes, on your end it loads almost instantaneously. Whenever I complain to Jeffrey Martin about slow 360cities pano loading (since they switched to multirez), he is just as surprised as you are about the issue. I wonder if it is an issue specific to how US ISPs handle data streams? I have a speedy PC ...

Re: multiresolution download time vs cube faces and Mobile
Just checked my connection speed. 31.5 Mbps download and 4.4 Mbps upload. Your multirez example took about about 17 seconds to un-fuzzy on the initial view (so after the loading bar had disappeared) and when I spin to another view it takes on average 10 to 15 seconds to get sharp. Your example proba...

Re: multiresolution download time vs cube faces and Mobile
Hopki, My understanding is that if I select a level to load at startup, it will do so regardless of the device. So if I select a window size of 1024x768 to load on startup, your typical phone might crash. This means that one can only load a rather small level at startup, resulting in the slow loadin...

multiresolution download time vs cube faces and Mobile
I know that we are not supposed to use the mobile tab anymore, but the slow loading of multirez keeps bothering me. Here is an example from my own website: http://www.sphericalpanoramas.com/antelope_valley/ sometimes it stays lowrez/fuzzy for 20 seconds and that is just for the initial view. Compare...
