auto change node in v5 not working
I have 'change node' set to 5.00s, but the tour isn't changing nodes automatically. I've investigated a bit with different browsers to no effect. I have noticed if I refresh the browser window, the tour switches to a different node at random from the start node. On another occasion, when I tried the...

Re: Panoramic video
Can someone explain how to output a seines of 2x1 equirectangular (still) images from say Premier or Final Cut Pro that would then work as a video file that could be played as a 360 video? The ratio would presumably be 2x1 yet some players want the final ratio to be 16:9 or as mentioned above, 3:2. ...

Is this possible in Pano2VR?
http://astrofotografen.se/auroraborealis.html Really cool sequence of the aurora borealis shot in a 360 degree sphere. I am thinking along similar lines, but not for shooting the aurora borealis, but it is how I came across this. It's basically a Pano time-lapse movie, so I guess you shoot many pano...

Re: Pano2VR Beta 5 feedback - map location & orientation
Hi Gumir, thanks for that. My point is for people new to the process it isn't intuitive. Once you've worked it out it's fine, but I still think the wording on the buttons themselves could be a little clearer

Pano2VR Beta 5 feedback - map location & orientation
I've used the new mapping options a few times now and I think the labels could do with being a little clearer. Right-click is used the first time to set the location/gps coordinates of a node on the map. A second right-click is used to choose a landmark to set the compass direction. All well and goo...

Re: Best way to showcase Pano2VR (v4) Files
I was/am in a similar position. I've had my own server for years. But hadn't updated it in a long time. I currently use Cyberduck (on a Mac) to ftp all the output/folders from Pno2VR to a folder in the top level of my server space. I can point people to a direct link to sub-folders in here and they ...

v5 is great for patching in 32bit!
Just to say this feature is great. I experimented with patching a 32bit radiance file and then updating / converting the original. Normally I would patch a Tonemaped tiff. So after patching I end up with a 'perfect' 32bit HDR file I can then tonemap to use anywhere I want, great! I used Photoshop to...

Re: Multi-Rez in v5
Thanks Hopki,
I'd noticed that output size for different panoramas varid quite a bit, even though the scource images are roughtly the same, around 12,000 pixel across. So I wantd to check what multi-res was doing under the bonnet so to speak.

Multi-Rez in v5
Reading through the help files on multi-res I've realised they're all pre v5. I can't seem to find equivalent setting screens in v5. Is it all automatic now, or will they be appearing later?
Thanks, getting more and more impressed with v5 as I use it more

Re: Loading source files issue with 5.0beta3a pro
Pilot error ... I didn't have the browser open at the time, still getting used to the new interface. So the image was loading, quite logically, as the second node. But without the browser open I could only see the original one. Sorry for the confusion...

Loading source files issue with 5.0beta3a pro
I'd been working on a panorama and decided to change the source image (an equirectangular tiff) - I'd re-rendered it from a HDR file to make it a bit lighter. So I clicked on the input button in the top left of the screen and chose the new file, all ok, except the image hadn't updated  I expe...

Re: How can I best embed a pano in a web page??!!
Thanks Gumir, yes, very old image, hope Apple won't be too litigious!! Funny, I was looking at your site yesterday, some great ideas there on how to present tours with lots of nodes. Have you coded it yourself or is it something Roundme do? Solved my embedding issue, trivial really... A little bit o...

Re: To many files/tiles
I'm going to use a 'warehousing' solution to this. I'll put all the pano outputs into a single folder on my local computer, contains lots of individual pano folders titled appropriately. I will setup each individual Pano2VR project to output directly to this folder (this is for my own website where ...

How can I best embed a pano in a web page??!!
Hi, this may be a simple question for some of you. I haven't used Pano2VR for some years, I've been dong other things :D I'm starting up shooting panoramas again with a new camera and fisheye. I'm quite excited to start using the E-M1 as it has a HDR mode that will take 7 shots 2ev apart with one pr...
