Re: Fullscreen Flash and IE Flash plugin 9.0.115.0 (WinXP)
Do you use the wmode="transparent" switch to embed the Flash panorama? If so, try to remove this line and IE should show the panorama (almost) as fast as Firefox. No, I'm not using wmode="transparent", but I seem have cured it. I was using the SWFObject v2 static publishing meth...

Re: Fullscreen Flash and IE Flash plugin 9.0.115.0 (WinXP)
I'm experiencing this slow down and jerkiness at fullscreen in IE (but OK in Firefox) as well. This is on a dual-core Opteron with 2GB ram and Radeon X1900 video card with 512KB and the latest ATI driver. It must be down to some difference between the IE and Moz version of the Flash plugin.

Re: Imbedded panorama on a blog
You need to add this:
and this as an attribute to the embed tag:
And I think you need to be checking for Flash v8 or above. I think earlier versions didn't allow fullscreen at all.
Code: Select all
<param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" />
Code: Select all
allowfullscreen="true"

Slide Controller Hidden Start
Here's a version of the controller_slide.ggsk which starts in the 'hidden' position.

OK, I've got beta 4a, but I'm still having problems with partial panoramas (both Flash and Quicktime) so I guess I'm doing something wrong. This is what I'm doing: 1. Select a partial cylindrical jpg 2. Viewing Parameters 'Modify' 3. Position the image where I want it to start 4. Click 'Set' to ente...

On the change log page of the Wiki it says that there is a Beta 3a that fixes this, but I couldn't find a d/l for it. Does it exist yet?
(By the way, excellent work so far on the betas for Pano2VR, Thomas.)

For the moment Pano2VR doesn't use PanoTools and the image library I am currently using only supports 8 bit output. This may change in the future but at the moment I find the best solution for a 16 bit workflow (and imho also in 8 bit) is the Photoshop plugin from Rune Spaans because you can extrac...

Not quite - you can't embed external Flash controllers or output HTML yet. But I have to agree - excellent work.360Texas wrote:Appears that Pano2vr now has all the pano2qtvr features incorporated.

I've just tested with a different image and it works fine. The crash happens with two images both the same size (slight variations in stitching). I've uploaded one of these images so that you can see if you can reproduce the crash. http://www.zenadsl5980.zen.co.uk/panoramas/images/shamrockstreetsphe...
