Re: Aerial partial map (or other maps, plans) support
www.Umapper.com is a new platform for creating and embedding maps. You can create your map online, supported are Microsoft Virtual Earth, Google, OpenStreetMap and Yahoo. Umapper generates also the embedding code to integrate the map in a html page. Maybe it's possible to put this code into a slidin...

Re: Pano2VR 2.2 beta released
Thomas confirmed that these features are on the To-do list. Step after step. I'm happy with the continues improvement of Pano2VR. And the new hotspot feature is a big step forward!

Re: Google Maps inside a pano
Hallo Jan, von afcomponents gibt es auch www.umapper.com - but I don't know if it's possible to embed the map with a link inside the Skin Editor of Pano2VR. Umapper could be interesting because with UMapper you can display geo-data and any layer on top of any map data provider (Microsoft Virtual Ear...

Can you hear the Canon 5D MKII knocking at the door?
The panos are getting fatter and fatter - aehm, what was the final decision about tiling and multiresolution panoramas?

Re: disappearing buttons and how to get longer hotspot text??
@stalwart:
The thumbnail button works fine, check the parameters of the button against the values of the map button.
BTW, compliments for the skin, was it all done with the Skin Editor of Pano2VR ?

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10
Sadly installing updates/upgrades of plugins like Flash is not possible for many (corporate) users, automatic or not, so we'll probably have to keep our version 9 content available for quite some time. Nothing to be done about it I guess. There is an option in swfobject to provide a webpage with al...

Re: Adobe Flash Player 10
Embedding the Flash10 pano with swfobject should provide an automatic upgrade for users with Flash 9 installed - or am I wrong?

Re: Hot Spots ????
I think it's quite difficult for Thomas to give exact release dates for the software. If there arises a problem, he has to solve it.
And Thomas knows for sure that we are waiting.

I'm using Tufuse Pro and the Lightroom plugin Enfuse to refine the source pictures before importing them into PTGui.

Re: Wish: Expiring swf panos created with Pano2VR
Yes Dave, that's exactly the point. We should be able to track and control our work . Getting a pingback from a new website you can, for point 1, decide your guerilla marketing tactics. Speaking about our small businesses, a collaboration with new websites and getting new traffic on the photographer...

Re: Wish: Expiring swf panos created with Pano2VR
My panos are always watermarked with a small logo, and hacking the swf pano is against my business terms. But I prefer to have the expiring or path feature for the swf pano. Also a pingback (www.mochibot.com) from the swf is not a bad idea to track the swf file on the the web against duplication. Im...
