Re: Outputting Equirectangular images

Hi Tony I work with 16bit uncompressed TIFF files straight out of PTGui. They are 12000 x 6000 and the file size is around 412MB each, which can make things a little slow. The current project consists of just under 300 nodes. I use Pano2VR to extract patches for editing the nadirs and to add logos t...

Re: Problem placing nodes on tour map/floorplan

Oh, and can anyone tell me why zooming in on the Tour Map is done with a mouse wheel scroll in one direction but you need to scroll the wheel in the opposite direction in the Panorama Viewer panel? It doesn't make sense to me!

Re: Outputting Equirectangular images

Thanks Martin, just the job! I hadn't come across that tool (obviously). Only been using Pano2VR since version 2! Update: I tested this with Pano2VR (Version: 6.0.6 pro 64bit Revision: 17336/5.9.4 Build date: Jul 25 2019, 10:24:47) and set the output destination using this dialogue box: Pano2VR_expo...

Outputting Equirectangular images

Hi everyone Is it possible to select a specific number of nodes in a project (using the Tour Browser) and save the equirectangular images of just the selected ones? Whatever I try I only seem to get every single node in the project. This can take a while when I'm working on a large tour - the curren...

Re: Edit Master Node in Version 6.0.3

Hi Martin Thanks for the feedback. When you say the patch issue is fixed in the next release, does this mean the latest beta version or another, yet to be released, release? When you say that to get round this I should change the file path for the patches to "patches\master_$n_patch.psd", ...

Re: Edit Master Node in Version 6.0.3

Hi Martin Another issue occurred today. I'm working on a tour with its own floorplan which has been prepared in Photoshop as a 24 bit PNG with transparency. I imported the floorplan and set a rough size with the measurement tool after which I aligned it by eye with a little bit of scaling to make it...

Re: Edit Master Node in Version 6.0.3

Thanks Martin, much appreciated. I've been working on a 60 node tour this afternoon and all is well with 6.0.2, so I can keep going with that for now...

Re: Edit Master Node in Version 6.0.3

Yes, all patches are correct. They are displayed correctly within Pano2VR to begin with and I have discovered that the correctly patched panoramas can be saved successfully using the output routine to save a same-size equirectangular. They get messed up when the project is saved and re-opened later....

Edit Master Node in Version 6.0.3

Hi everyone Since yesterday I am having issues with nadir patches. I am currently working on a tour with 21 nodes and have used Edit Master Node to extract nadir patches for all panoramas. The patches are extracted as .psd files and use the standard naming convention of patches\master_$n_patch.psd. ...

Problem placing nodes on tour map/floorplan

Hi everyone, I am getting pretty frustrated when I try to place nodes on a custom floorplan in Pano2VR V6.02 Pro. Most of the time after lining the node up by dragging with the mouse and letting go of the left button the node moves. It almost always moves up the screen and sometimes to the left. It ...

Erroneous missing files message at start-up

Hi I can create a new tour using Pano2VRv6.0b4, save it, close Pano2VR, re-launch Pano2VR and open the saved tour, all is well. If, however, I create nadir patches for all panos using the batch process of "Edit Master Node" then after saving and re-opening a tour I get the attached error m...

Re: Hotspot Properties - Bug?

Hi Martin Sorry for the delay - I often forget to check in here until a few days have passed... I will follow your suggestions with the next tour build and record the steps as I go. I get Pano2VR to add the hotspots to one or two selected nodes at a time, and as I write this I think I realise what m...

Re: Hotspot Properties - Bug?

Hi Martin Thanks for that. Upon further investigation I have discovered the hotspot list view (never looked at it before!) that has revealed in some cases that there is more than one link between some of the nodes. I have gone through the whole tour, removing those that are duplicates, Making sure t...
