Re: sound triggered by an area hotspot?
Using hotspot proxies should help. I agree. See Hopki's reply to RobM in this past post: http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8747&p=26087#p26087 Here is an example to add sound (i.e. narration) to a point hotspot. Seems like an area hotspot would be the same: http://gar...

Re: Google Analytics and virtual tours
See "Anatomy of Event Tracking" on this page. Their first example shows how to record user interaction with a video Play link on your page. https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/gajs/eventTrackerGuide Perhaps the " video Play link " could be your hotspot ur...

Re: node navigation with Flash fallback.
Have you seen this past post where Thomas mentions "tinkering" http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7571&hilit=tinkering&start=15 That past post above is about bookmarking specific views in a node, but in my html5 experience, my web server (.net on iis web s...

Re: Tour not displaying in IE7
...It doesn't make sense to me that they will display on some machines and not others though... This sounds like the client's IT department has their employees' browser security settings configured so tightly that the pano player javascript functions are not allowed to run. ...Do you think that whe...

Re: Keyboard Accessibility
1) It seems the keyboard controls are not accessible unless the Tour is clicked on by a mouse. Can this be overcome? Really? My keyboard controls ARE accessible so long as the tour's tab/window has focus, such as immediately after the web page is loaded. The controls become inaccessible when the ke...

Re: Hide/Show controller when mouse move
Will this work for you? It works well in my quick test for this reply. In the skin editor, add two actions to the "controller" as follows: 1. Source = Mouse Over Action = Change Element Alpha Alpha = 1.0 Target = $self 2. Source = Mouse Leave Action = Change Element Alpha Alpha = 0.01 Targ...

Re: 27" Touch Screen and pano's
Is that a 27" tablet? Just kidding. Thanks for the update. I currently work with a Microsoft Surface Pro Windows 8 with Touch. The pano tours work fine on the Surface. However, advanced snippets of html5 on the Surface still have room for improvement, and I understand Microsoft is slowly provid...

Re: Uploading to subdomain
Yes, the output generated by pano2vr is an html file such as, "myPano.html" or whatever you named it. (Side-note: By right-clicking on http://simv.keywestvirtualtours.com I notice you are outputting from pano2vr to Flash. So, understand too that the html page launches the flash swf file.) ...

Re: unsharp html5 panos with cubes as input
Carel, I see a big difference between your flash on my laptop and your html5 on my iPad 2.
But I see no difference between your flash and your html5 on only my laptop.

Re: MIssing Menu item
Another suggestion, open the skin.js file with a code/text editor and look for syntax errors related to the wedding menu item. Many browsers forgive syntax errors by assuming what was meant. While other browsers are less forgiving and stop at that same syntax error. If uncomfortable with code, then ...
