Re: Userdata in a hyperlink

I haven't got the answer, but one thing I would like to see is more user fields that can be used. In the quest to make a skin that I can use for many different user scenarios I've found that I've bastardised the supplied user field for uses other than the description in the manual. so a set of $user...

Re: Not quite sure how this works

Hi, I'd like to try to use this to embed a vimeo video - but it just won't work for me. I though it was my implementation in the skin, but it's the Vimeo application code. If I replace the vimeo url with Hopki's thunderbirds Utube clip, then it pops up immediately. Vimeo has two ways of embedding it...

Re: Embedding in wordpress

Kilimi uses swfobject under the covers. For me, It's a nice solution as it integrates into the WP visual editor, rather than having to remember the SWFObject syntax etc. I use a similar WP plugin for SlideShowPro for the same reasons - and that works with HTML5 to degrade gracefully. I need to modif...

Adding images to skin

I've just been trying to add a new png image to a skin, and nothing happens.

Tried on Beta 2 and seems to work fine.

Mac 10.6.4

Embedding in wordpress

TIP I've recently embedded a number of panos in a Wordpress website, with varying sucess. Searching these forums didn't really provide an answer, but as I've now solved the problem I thought I'd let others know how it can be done. It allows the panos to be displayed easily, but still preserving fle...

Re: Pano2VR v3 beta2

That's better.

Wish I'd had it yesterday though....potential new client would have loved transitions... :D

Re: Pano2VR v3 beta2

Great work on the transitions - works on a number of my demo panos (most of which I've tweaked over the last couple of day for a new web site - looks like I'll be spending another few hours doing this!) However, just tried to open another pano2vr_B2 created project file, and pano2vr pops up a dialog...

Re: Another skin editor feature request

The files in the .ggsk file will be named after the skin ID. I don't really understand this, nor if it makes any difference. I just wanted the current image name to be displayed in the edit dialog so that I knew the current name of the image being used for a button - than I could go into the .ggsk ...

Re: can this be done? new window popup...

Stu,

Short answer is no - or at least not with just HTML.

The new window or new tab decision is a user preference in the browser, so tab aware browsers if set in their preferences will open the link in a tab.

Re: Containers

OK thanks - I'll try that. I guess one of the things I'm looking for is a definition of what some of the numbers in the editor mean as well (again I've hunted through the documentation and I'm afraid I don't think it's clear. It could be my age though....) Are the x and y co-ordinates always relativ...

Re: Containers

No - the container is a red herring here - I started the example using the container, then decided that I couldn't see it - so it was difficult to see the relationship of the other rectangles to the containing symbol. Besides, I don't think that the positioning of the subordinate rectangles is chang...

Containers

Ok - I'm really getting confused with Containers and anchors. I'm not sure this a question more a way of getting someone to confirm that this is the way it works, or can point me to some good documentation on this - I have searched. I've just created a little test scenario, with a single rectangle (...

Another skin editor feature request

Though you can dissect the xml file describing the skin to get the image names for a particular button, it would be good if the current image name is shown in the skin editor. Currently, if you click an element in the editor to bring up the image properties it shows a thumbnail of the current image ...
