Re: where to add code to allow fullscreen onclick

Hmm, I think he means something else, like how to modify his embedding code to allow the Flash plugin to utilize fullscreen mode. I don't know any details of that 'AC_FL_RunContent' script, but I would guess you would have to add 'allowfullscreen','true', and <param name="allowfullscreen" value="tru...

Re: All Flash Website Not Able to Use .swf files from P2VR

As far as my limited experience goes, all skin elements will work as if your Pano2VR Flash panorama is completely on its own. But that may depend on the actual Flash application your panorama is loaded into. So a fullscreen button in your skin will (or in some cases might not) work as usual, but the...

Re: All Flash Website Not Able to Use .swf files from P2VR

Did you tell them about this page?
http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Pano2VR_-_Flash_API
It contains essential information on how to integrate Pano2VR Flash panoramas in larger Flash applications.

Re: Resizing browser window out of sync with viewer

It's very difficult to tell where the influence of performance limitations of a given hardware/software configuration ends, and where possible hardware independent shortcomings of Pano2VR panoramas begin. We have no standardized/agreed benchmark to gauge either, so any reliable (non-subjective) comp...

Re: Can skins be dynamically applied to panoramas?

Did you have a look at the 'Externalize' option in the HTML tab of the Flash Output screen? There you can tell Pano2VR to generate separate .swf and image files instead of one single .swf. The HTML code it produces then contains instructions for the .swf about how to build a skin with those images. ...

Re: Resizing browser window out of sync with viewer

I have been working with this software for several years, your full screen "sticky zoom/in - rotate" is the first time I noticed it. Well, this software has changed quite a bit over the years, it has evolved, grown in functionality to a considerable extend. It must have become incredibly complex co...

Re: FLAT again - wrong size and position

The Min FoV in the zoom settings is 100 degrees, whereas your Viewing Parameter FoV is 97,6 degrees, which is less. Did you try setting Min FoV to 97,6 ? And did you try other settings than ' With Window ' for Scaling in the Flash Output / Settings tab? (I've had this problem too, but at the moment ...

Re: Newbie-Go To URL not working please help

There's no need, just use relative paths that are valid for both your local file structure AND your webserver, like "../public_html/Driveway.html" or something similar. But if you really need your local .swf files to have access to files on a (remote) webserver you'll have to adjust your Flash secur...

Dynamic Framerates = Safari Trouble

So I tried to be clever making a preloader that has a 'resting' framerate of 5 fps and a 'working' framerate of 50 (the framerate I set for my Pano2VR Flash panos). My reason for wanting this mechanism is this (test)page: http://tinyurl.com/Direct-to-FullscreenPano Obviously a HTML page so full of r...

Re: 3 questions: autoplay, preload, GIF

Well if you have Flash CS4 you can make a simple vector-based animation instead. That would bring filesize down to an absolute minimum of a mere few kiloBytes if cleverly done! And don't forget that you can do a lot of animation with Pano2VR's own skin editor too. It may not be too obvious to everyo...

Re: 3 questions: autoplay, preload, GIF

Hi Ronald, If you do a little research you'll quickly find that Flash does not support the use of GIF images. So your problem really has nothing to do with Pano2VR, you'll just have to find another way to get what you want. A very simple solution would be to make a Flash8 animation of your image seq...

Re: Resizing browser window out of sync with viewer

With my multi-loaders I am having similar problems, but more of a 'sticky zoom' nature. I see it in your example too, so it's also visible on single panos. The effects manifests itself when I quickly zoom with my scroll wheel. Zooming in, the FoV will stop changing at a certain point, only to jump a...
