Re: Flash 9 and Screen locking up when viewing Full Screen

Hi Hopki ! (edited to sound a little more friendly)
I don't think anyone can help you unless you are (at the very least) a little more specific about the nature of your problem.

Re: 4b bug?

"if I remember there may be some other downsides to using the Panotools dll for conversion."

That may be so, but you won't hear me complaining too much about my results using it : )
There could be (quality) problems with extremely large files though.

Re: 4b bug?

Hi Robert, I can confirm that Pano2QTVR processes 16-bit colourdepth PTGui files @ full resolution (originally from my EOS 5D), the resulting cubefaces have always been 16-bits (TIFF!). Those PTGui files are 16-bit TIFF's without any compression and without an alpha channel. The interpolator i use i...

Re: Fullscreen Flash and IE Flash plugin 9.0.115.0 (WinXP)

For the last few months i have been investing an enormous amount of time (and some money for licenses for three different software solutions) converting my panoramas to the Flash9 format. I have done this because i firmly believe the panofuture is with Flash. That is, UNLESS Fiero manages to sell hi...

Re: Fullscreen Flash and IE Flash plugin 9.0.115.0 (WinXP)

I just noticed that i forgot to mention that my problem is with IE6, sorry 'bout that. I did mention however that fullscreen Flash VR works flawless with Firefox on the same computer. On another computer IE7 works ok too. However, my concern is not that it malfunctions on MY computer, i MUCH rather ...

Re: Fullscreen Flash and IE Flash plugin 9.0.115.0 (WinXP)

@ Svendus: Thanks for the tip (sorry, couldn't make much from the Swedish in the screenshots), I updated all the ActiveX Controls that could be updated. To my surprise the 'Shockwave Flash Object' named 'Flash9e.ocx' was updated too! That one should not have needed updating after deleting the older ...

I really couldn't make any sense of your post until I looked at that Adobe downloadpage. It seems to me you've got the wrong one! Try this one: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html#fp9 There you'll find a standalone player (sa_flashplayer_9_debug.exe for Windows) that's only 3.60M...

@ Thomas: wouldn't it be better to protect the sample .ggsk files against overwriting by storing them in another directory than the user files and/or making them 'read only'? As it is now they can quickly become damaged beyond repair when people start experimenting with the editor, and I guess there...

Fullscreen Flash and IE Flash plugin 9.0.115.0 (WinXP)

I just updated my Flash plugins for IE and Firefox (WinXP) to version 9.0.115.0 (I had 9.0.45something) and guess what? IE now appears to really dislike fullscreen FlashVR's. Within a window moving the view about with the mouse works as usual, but when switched to fullscreen the view 'sticks' and do...

Well it was Dave who was wondering about how to switch back from full screen (and it was Dave who started this thread by the way). About those doubles, again just look at the script: <image>img_7_n.png</image> <imageover>img_7_o.png</imageover> Two images are needed for this function, so you'll have...

Hi guys, The fullscreen function is a 'toggle' action, just look at the script: <element> <id>fullscreen</id> <x>245</x> <y>0</y> <width>32</width> <height>32</height> <anchor>0</anchor> <action> <type>tooglefullscreen</type> </action> <image>img_7_n.png</image> <imageover>img_7_o.png</imageover> </...

Yep, that worked allright! I had to modify Fieros detectvr.js a little bit for this. For those who use the DevalVR plugin detection script too: In the lines shown below I added 'allowFullScreen', 'true', { if(detectvr_replacepage) window.location.replace(flashfile); else p2q_EmbedFlash(flashfile,siz...

fullscreen button in beta3

Hmmm, for some reason the full screen button works wonderfully in the stand-alone Flashplayer with my first test, but not in the browser window (IE and Firefox). The autorotate button works okay though. The URL is a bit long I'm afraid: http://www.erikleeman.com/HTM/english-showpano-large.html?pano=...
